  1. I finished two SSTOs today, with appropriate cargo versions coming soon. Both can reach orbit with dv left. http://imgur.com/JPDWysY http://imgur.com/OQ0HPZH
  2. kind of like this game http://www.supermechs.com/
  3. I knew someone else would find out about it. It was just a matter of time...
  4. Thanks for the help guys! Just aerocaptured into Eve at 65km periapsis, and apart from fried comms, the probes remained intact! (antennarange user so maybe partial success?) -Probes had 1.25m heatshield in front
  5. I'm currently running a Eve probe convoy mission designed to farm science from Eve and Gilly. Two of these probes, creatively named Eve-1 and Eve-2, are designed to use Eve's atmosphere to capture into its SOI. I really don't know the perfect altitude for aerobraking on atmospheric planets, but all I know is that if you go too high, you won't get captured and if you go too low, you will have unplanned lithobraking. Info is advised for all atmospheric bodies. Thanks KSP community for your help! -Crikeycrapper
  6. Nice spaceplane, xScaramouchx. I've been seeing more planes of this criteria so I am bumping this thread. Cheers!
  7. Hey Wanderfound, since KSP 1.0's aero changed, will your craft work with the new aero? Just asking.
  8. Whoah Mikki, could you please put craft file? That SSTO of yours would help my KSP career save.
  9. I know about that thread already, but it will take me AGES to find a Mk3 SSTO that fits my requirements. That's the reason I made this thread, so it won't take me long to find that one SSTO I need.
  10. The KG-5 white whale is another truly impressive SSTO that I have encountered on my time in the forums. Mind if you could post this spaceplane in my dedicated thread if you have a chance? thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/120511-Showcase-Show-off-your-Mk3-SSTOs! Thanks!
  11. Man, this SSTO is HUGE. You say it could lift up an orange tank, huh? Try posting this to my Mk3 SSTO thread when you get a chance! thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/120511-Showcase-Show-off-your-Mk3-SSTOs!
  12. Hey landfish2, your Hotdog XL SSTO could be my first reply in my Mk3 SSTO showcase. Looks like a mighty fine spaceplane indeed! http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/120511-Showcase-Show-off-your-Mk3-SSTOs!
  13. *bumps thread* I have tried making Mk3 SSTOs that could lift up an orange tank and a 2.5m monopropellant combination a few times before, but all previous attempts failed. Some inspiration will be great!
  14. Hi guys. I've been playing for over a year now and since KSP 0.90 I've been always wanting to make a Mk3 spaceplane/SSTO that could lift up a combination of an orange tank and large MonoPropellant tank into orbit in one go. Now that we have the new Mk3 wings, this task could be much "easier" nowadays. So post your Mk3 spaceplanes here! (craft file is recommended.) Thanks for the crafts guys!
