Hey, I got a pop-up when I got to the main menu that sent me here. Something about some of my craft having fatal errors that are going to obliterate my saves. Help? I can send you my log file if you want it.

[1.0.4] LLL - Lack Luster Labs (Space-boxes!) [LLL-14 - 20JUN2014]
ototcon replied to Lack's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Love the mod, I've been looking for parts like this for a while now. Will this mod be have the MFDs from Raster Prop Monitor eventually? Also: in the radial bridge's IVA you can see window frames floating out of the front window. -
Hola, I like building space stations and surface bases, but I find that the stock parts don't have that space station/surface base command center look/feel. I've been using mk2 lander cans, but what I'm looking for would ideally have more than one command station and enough slots for each command station to have a kerbal, the command stations/windows would be facing outwards in the same manner that the lander cans do (I don't know the proper terminology for "out the side"), the IVA would have those fancy MFDs that I see in a lot of mods (Raster prop monitor or something?), it would also be nice if one or more of the command consoles looked like a desk with a lamp or charts or something built onto it and a MFD (kinda like the rear seats in the mk.4 space plane mod). Thanks for taking a look, and I would be very grateful if anyone could make something like this into one of their parts pack mods or know of a mod that has something like this.

I made this thread more of wondering what people do if a mission can be salvaged or rescued; like if you ran out of fuel on descent, parachutes burned upon reentry, just plain old forgot to put something vital on a space craft and don't have time to transfer out the crew, or simply don't have the skill yet to retrieve the crew in one piece. (I'm totally guilty of all of these.) I appreciate all of the advice. I took another look at the numbers and it turns out that the crew has 6 years of supplies not 3, so they are going to be fine. Also: does Interstellar include other star systems or do I have to download those separately?

I'm still at the skill level where I can barely get to Eeloo at closest approach. They also have only 3 years of life support left. The crew doesn't have enough life support to last long enough for a rescue or delivery of a new ship. I had provisions set up so they could last indefinitely as part of a mining base, but the drilling rig had a significant design flaw: I forgot to hook my stage 0 LVNs up to their fuel tanks. Sadly the Alcubierre drives do weird things with my game which is why I went with the jump gates.

I'm using TAC LS and they crew doesn't have enough supplies to last until a rescue ship comes. Oh, and my current plan is to send a ship to recover the ship and send it back to Kerbin. Everyone comes home; one way or another.

Howdy Y'all, I recently embarked on a large and complicated mission series to Eeloo to harvest that sweet, sweet Karborundum to start on a jump gate network, but some very significant design flaws have doomed my crew even though they have several years of (TAC LS) supplies on board. What do you guys do when you know that a crew is going to be lost with no hope of recovery? (Things like running out of fuel in the middle of a landing or you p[arachutes failing on reentry.)

I've found the stock heat shields and re-entry to be quite a pain. To try and offset the lack of mass where it should be in the capsule and heat shield I've tried putting one of the small 1.25M fuel tanks for ballast, but this doesn't really work as often as I would like, especially since on occasion the thing right behind the ballast ends up exploding which is pretty counter productive. Even though the weight/balance issues will probably be fixed in a hot-fix; I would still like to see ballast weights as something I put on a vehicle.

Hi, I'm having trouble with air intakes with .90. Whenever I try to attach them with any kind of symmetry, the parts don't attach at all, and if I try again I lose the ability to select and attach parts to the craft and the ability to name the craft. It also will not let me load a craft after attempting to attach the intakes a 2nd time without re-selecting the part, and when I click the New Craft button, the first piece I select appears aligned vertically and halfway embedded into the floor of the hanger and is unmovable. The only air intake that works is the mk-1 inline intake that I think is from B9. I have the following mods installed: B9 aerospace Cross-feed enabler Crowd sourced science deadly reentry kerbal engineer evironmental visual enhancements Kerbal Assembly System KW rocketry Realchute Remote tech distant objects enhancement Kerbal alarm clock Infernal Robotics Vanguard kerbal parachutes I would appreciate any help.

Is there a name for the kerbal monetary unit? If so I would really like to know since attempting to call them dollars or euros makes the space craft I make sound really cheap. Also it kinda bugs the heck out of me not being able to call it something.

Hi, I was about planets in our solar system with particularly thick atmospheres, such as Venus and Jupiter, and I thought that it would be neat if you could make a station that instead of being in a regular orbit would instead go down partially into the atmosphere and inflate either balloons of some kind or fill empty fuel tanks with helium, nitrogen, or some other lighter than earth air gas and would float in the atmosphere kind of like Bespin from Star Wars, except for using balloons of some kind instead of a sci-fi propulsion system to keep it afloat.
