  1. Intel Dual Core Pentium E2140 @ 1.6GHz 1 GB Intel 946GZ Intergrated Graphics Haven't seen any more than 30 or so fps since the new terrain system
  2. Pretty good ships, especially like the Demeter (and if I didn\'t know any better, I\'d say you ripped off my Alena Lander XD.) As for the Peregrine, great design, but the C7 pack is horribly over-powered in space, and basically cheat parts over 30km, so that is basically the limit I set for myself with Spaceplanes. I will admit, however, that my first Mun landing was using those 'cheat parts' :-[. As for constructive criticism, I do see a minor flaw with the Demeter, in that the regular SAS seems a bit unnecessary, but I haven\'t flow it yet, so it might actually be necessary. Next stop, the attachment on the bottom of the post. And then the Mun.
  3. Well... derp on me. Finally got my master craft done, and did most of the challenge. Got all the way to checkpoint 3, decoupled my drop tank system that carries my main RCS system, got myself in an orbital rendevous position with the finish, and found out I forgot to put RCS on my actual Spaceplane... yeah. Ran out of fuel trying to do it with the main engine. It\'s always the little details that get me, I swear. Great challenge by the way, really enjoyed it, most fun I\'ve had in KSP in awhile. I\'ll try again tomorrow, but for now, I think I\'ll retire to the nice, soft rectangle we call a bed.
  4. Woah, nice challenge. Some of the times posted are pretty amazing so far, it\'s a bit lacking in the mod section though. I think it\'s about time we got a C7 user in here. 8) Now to go make a rather gigantic space-plane... oh god don\'t start crying computer.
  5. Been here since .12. (Im kind of an intrevert) Ah, I remember my first sub-orbital trajectory, went smoothly... except the fact I landed on the dark side of Kerbin, not advised back then.
  6. I have a few planes in my hangar that can manage this legit. Time to go make them less explodey and more flyable.
  7. Yeah... I have an old graphics card, so my water looks.... not quite like water. Sure. The spaceplanes require C7 and C7 Experimental, and the upcoming Rockets (which I\'ll get around to adding now) will require NovaPunch.
  8. Added preparations to add some rocket designs in. Anyone like my designs?
  9. Hello people. I have decided to lay out my Planes and Rocketry for the KSP Community to crash skillfully pilot. Hope you enjoy my designs. Neo\'s Freelance Space Industry presents its space-planes! First on the list, the Falcon II The Falcon was the first craft NFSI manufactured and has undergone the most changes since version I. A beauty in the air regardless of fuel, though the Roll is a bit... touchy. Pros: Most maneuverable out of all NFSI crafts Lightweight Can land at speeds in excess of 60 M/s Cons: Has a low amount of fuel The Roll can be a bit harsh, even with precision control systems Landing can be a bit tough, due to the quick maneuvering of the craft Next up, the Nemesis II The most advanced plane in NFSI\'s fleet, completely fitted with RCS modules and Landing Skids. The most stable plane in the fleet, its able to do a VTOL landing, provided there is a proficient pilot in the cockpit. Pros: Most stable plane offered Advanced technologies such as an RCS system and Landing Skids Cons: The rear engine is prone to breaking off during landings Generates a significant amount of lift, making landings a bit hard Lastly (for now), the Behemoth V The 2nd fastest plane NFSI has to offer, and also the 3rd most stable. An insanely fast aircraft, an attempt at combining the stability of the Nemesis and the raw speed of the Arkbird. Fitted with 4, count them, 4 C7A Aerospike engines, as well as 1 AX-309-G for stability purposes. To cut back on weight, however, the landing gear has been removed, requiring the pilot to slowly belly-slide to a stop. Pros: Extremely Fast Above Average Stability Cons: Must Belly-Slide to a landing Can be a bit unstable at more than 2/3 throttle Hope you enjoyed my main 3 planes. I have a few more designs I would like to share soon, but i\'d rather perfect them first. Coming Soon: Arkbird II X-1 Stormbringer X-2 Sister Stormbringer X-82 Twin Stormbringer Coming in a few hours: ROCKETS Changelog(Geez, already?) 2.Added an intro and made preparations to add a rocket section. 1. Fixed weird issue with the Behemoth V pic appearing so tiny... OK, really I just uploaded a new pic, but it is fixed.
  10. I have a really old graphics card, that apparently does not like the color blue. Makes my water all messed up under 100,000 meters Well, that did come to my mind when making the challenge. I could make control surfaces on the actual glider banned, which would basically force you to glide to a halt, or possibly canards-only. Would that helps things a bit?
  11. The engines can stay or go as you please. In my run, I used the engine\'s decoupling to take off the lower half of my craft. Rocket-Launched gliders are strongly encouraged.
  12. Hello Ladies and Gents, I come to you with my first offer of a challenge. The mission, regardless if you accept it or not, is an endurance run. Our engineers want to know how long a 10 second burn can carry our best space-planes, so you pilots have been chosen as guinea pigs testers. What you testers must do is fire up the engines for a total of 10 seconds, then attempt to achieve the highest ground distance possible. Now, our engineers didn\'t want faulty results because a current lack of proper stall physics, so 'glitches' such as Infinite Thrust have been banned. The stuck-up engineers also want photo proof, so 3 photos are a requirement, 1 just after the initial burn, another during the gliding period after, and the last showing the total ground distance covered. I have personally made a test run in the Arkbird II, and I started off slow for competition\'s sake. Good luck pilots. The Leaderboard 1. NeoHoltsky - 12,187 ~ Arkbird II The Rest - Zit, Zero, Nada
  13. That takes me back. Hated that giant laser in the back. All of NESA\'s resources shall be devoted to creating this monster!
  14. Hey guys! Found out about KSP from one of my favorite LPers (TheWinterOwl), and then found out about this board about 10mins ago. Got me a working space program already. Neo\'s Extreme Space Adventures shall live long!
