Unforunately I didn\'t make any screenshots of it, but today I tried to launch a very heavy rocket, with a lot of thrusters underneath. The thrusters didn\'t lift the rocket, so I pressed space to let the liquid fuel engines take over (while the boosters were still firing). A second later, there was a BIG explosion and then the launch pad was just....empty. Totally no sign of any part at all.
@Ivan: Yes I understand that. The big improvement is that you can attach fuel tanks with radial couplers. But then, isn\'t it more efficient to attach an engine to the bottom of that/those fuel tank(s) rather than leading the fuel to the center?
Great improvements! Big ships are much more stable now, and using couplers doesn\'t make your ship roll anymore. However I don\'t really understand the benefit of the fuel line. When you attach fuel tanks on the side, you want an engine underneath them anyhow to help carry the weight. Looking forwards very much towards all further improvents. What a great game!
Got a standard rocket to the moon, carrying 4 Kerbanauts. Landed safely, and released them. A few seconds after they landed, 3 spontaneously combusted, and only 1 survived. Or at least, it\'s lying very still on the surface without exploding.
