You should be able to see it from orbit, I remember in i think 0.12 or .13 I sent a probe around the mun in the lowest possible orbit to see the best heights of the mountains (only up to 768m XD) You could use like an infini glider or something you can afk from to look for it or mabye like the mapping satellites topography option
