How can you target two different docking ports from two different control ports? I'd prefer to have multiple attachment poi ts for structural integrity. I'm using RMax jumbos with quad nuclear engines for each of my 4 radial engine modules around the same configuration. Otherwise; Brilliant answer. Very comprehensive!!!

May I humbly suggest pressing escape and then clicking: revert to vehicle assembly building. Therer, review your vessels construction. Rendezvous and docking to recover a day1 ship is a bit much to ask. Also have a look at the tutorials regarding gravity turns.

Hi guys. I've been acting long enough to begin orbital construction of my first interstellar ship. I use MechJeb for docking as I find it impossible otherwise. Unfortunately once docked together my engine pieces all point in odd directions rather than in line with the core engine and command body. Is there a function in Stock KSP or MechJeb that will help my ship not be wonky? Or are there any construction tricks that enable docking on a single, clean axis? Thanks

Anyone know what MechJeb module to use that may help me have 5 engines aligned properly instead of all pointing in random directions??
