  1. Thanks a lot @mikegarrison ! Considering all you said, don't you think it'd be easier to build organ-pipe-like resonators instead of wooden boxes ?
  2. I could have ask this on an other forum... but I thought it'd be cool to see how great the KSP community is So I'm planning to build a celesta from scratch. For those who don't know what a celesta is : So I want to draw the design but there is one thing I have to know before I start. I have to find out the size of the resonators. (note : each frequency/key on the instrument has it's own resonator) I found this formula on the Acoustic resonance wikipedia page : but how do I apply it ? For instance if I want to know the size of the resonator needed for a 442Hz A (note : each frequency/key on the instrument has its own resonator), how do I proceed ? Edit : One last thing : I don't know if it's important to know but the rectangular resonators are opened at the top - the side just below the metal sound plate.
  3. FRENCH updated to 1.2.2 http://spacedock.info/mod/1177/KSP PATCH FR - Traduction Francophone
  4. French patch manager changed : @iceolator88 is now the French patch manager. @Wickedgang : what translation are you talking about ?
  5. Pas nécessaire pour l'instant. On patine un peu mais pas besoin d'aide, merci quand même !! Not needed for the moment. We have a bit of difficulty for now but we don't need help, thank you anyway !
  6. Spanish patch is updated by @fitiales Italian patch is being recreated by @Nansuchao
  7. Hi everyone, Just to inform you there are some translation patches available in some languages for KSP 1.2.1, you can see them here ! We are in need of help ! if you can create a patch in a language that is not yet supported, please PM me ! I'll guide you through the process.
  8. @KingeOrge there are already community members that are translating the game to Spanish ( @fitiales is the manager of the Spanish patch) you can see more on my LangPatches project thread. @kapteenipirk @Badie That's why a translation company, which is obviously not playing the game, will make very confusing translation and I'm sure it will be completely unintelligible in some cases. And that's why a powerful community that does play KSP won't make horrible mistakes nor unintelligible texts. BTW @kapteenipirk you can take a look at LangPatches project thread if you think you can manage to create a Finnish patch based on the currently existing language patches that exist. If you need help PM me !
  9. Tweaked credits ! And thank you for sharing your abilities to the community ! LOOKING FOR FRENCH SPEAKERS READY TO HELP ! PM me if you can !
  10. Spanish Patch is currenlty being updated. French Patch is currenlty being updated. German Patch is updated Portuguese patch is updated
  11. Yes it's nice ! But I'd like to see more scatter details for example. Animated grass ? more rocks ? More trees on Kerbin ? Small bumps not interacting with landing legs ?
  12. why DLC ? The visual mods that are currently available are only about atmosphere, shaders... (almost) no mod for terrain overhaul or anything like that. The terrain is really boring in KSP. I mean I don't want to see an Outerra Kerbin but hey ! A terrain overhaul would be awesome ! Together with some new game dimensions. The main consideration for Squad, apart from "what makes the game more interesting so more people will buy it" is also "do not steal the modders work".
  13. @Tau137@Badie And of course we aren't the only ones ! Through all these years I've been able to gather volunteers to translate KSP in different languages (Spanish, German, French, Italian, Russian, Portuguese, Dutch, Czech, Polish...) . They were all at least very fluent both in English and in their mother tongue. And most of the ones have continued to ask me news about what the developers wanted. So yes I know we are a community and I understand you are not sure if it is a good idea to let the community contribute to translations as you may want it to be professional (this is normal ) but unlike some other games translations that everyone can contribute to, it could be only people who are really motivated, who are part of the community, who are at least fluent in English on top of their mother tongue, just like the community members I gathered a couple of months ago. It would be easy to gather such people...
  14. Thank you a lot for your answer ! May you please keep me aware (so that I know if I'm useful are useless...)
  15. Very great mod ! However as you were the ResearchBodies telescope model's creator there is exactly the same model in your mod and in ResearchBodies...
  16. Hello, Many Kerbal international communities now have their own websites/forum. Polish KSP forum : http://forum.kerbale.pl/
  17. According to this post, KSP currently uses Unity 5.2.4.
  18. AstroProfessional telescope (diam 114 mm, focal length 900 mm) using "K9" or "K20" eyepieces. I used no filters 'cause the only one I have is for full moon observation. I saw a bright dot next to Saturn, do you think it could be Titan ? I was also able to distinguish Jupiter's bands ! This is what people around me also say, but personally I feel excitement much more than disappointment
  19. I saw that today was a pretty good deal : clear sky, the moon, Saturn, Mars and Jupiter so I decided to take my telescope out from the dust. I already saw the moon in my telescope a long time ago, but this was the only body I've ever seen in my telescope (even if I've already seen Saturn through someone else's one), and for the first time in my life (and in the same evening) I've seen Jupiter, Mars and Saturn (+ the moon but it wasn't the first time) what I felt was excitement, I was very happy to have the opportunity of being able to live such a beautiful moment, so I wanted to share this and know if anybody else has ever seen a planet/the moon/something else and what it felt like Details on what I've seen I first targeted the moon to set the telescope up again and I was already impressed ! Even if it wasn't the first time I've seen it, seeing the craters is very thrilling ! I then targeted Jupiter. I'm using Sky Map on my tablet to find the planets I wanna see. So I found Jupiter, I pointed the telescope towards it and I saw a bright white disk with 4 small points next to the disk (Galilean satellites guys !!!) Next step was Mars : I was a bit disappointed with Mars because I couldn't distinguish Mars' red color... but it appeared bigger than Jupiter. And finally I pointed towards Saturn. I was reeeally impressed by it. I understood why Galileo wasn't able to understand the shape of its rings
