  1. I don't even think they did that without other plugins.
  2. It would, but this is not about easiness. Delete the mk1Emptycockpit folder (caps not exactly like that) as it only has a cfg inside, making the game hang when it doesn't find the 3d models. (or copy the mbm's from the real one there, whatever you like)
  3. My bad, included the wrong folder. This time I couldn't test personally. Thanks for reporting. Fixed now, I think Now a little comment: I couldn't include the mark1cockpit in the initial zip because it refused to compress and the old forum attachment limit was 5 mb. Also, I don't really like the idea of uploading squad's stuff on mediafire or dropbox, I'm sorry for the mk1cockpit, but I think it's best to keep this as-is.
  4. Yes, 0.17 sort-of-requires that. Edit: Zip with new cfgs posted Now the bad part, I can't control decoupled pods either with mechjeb. If anyone finds a way, posting it here would be really appreciated.
  5. What you are experiencing is an old issue known a "Deep Space Kraken", caused by imprecissions in the physics engine. It's fixed for next release, you can read the official explanation here
  6. Thanks! Unfortunately to do that you will need a plugin of some sort that allows it. MechJeb, remoteTech, also EscapePod would do the trick, and probably more.
  7. The worst thing about it is that the resolution of the image is too low to be used as a wallpaper... The station itself, epicly impressive.
  8. I've been told by JDP that it is possible and he may be working on that but I haven't talked to him since then.
  9. My first approach was also having them being SAS modules, and as you said it doesn\'t work. I\'ll look into making them 'huge rcs thrusters' after I clean update my operating system today/tomorrow.
  10. Well, I updated the file in the OP to be a passwordless standard old zip. Nothing more to add.
  11. I don\'t think Squad\'s 'intellectual property' should be mirrored outside their own forums. (official word on this?)
  12. I don\'t really know what exactly could cause that... It\'s using the newer LZMA2 so maybe your 7zip version is old, or the download got corrupted (7zips are very prone to do that)
  13. If you like it, you should just start opening cfg\'s and watching tutorials on youtube, it\'s pretty addictive and enjoyable to create stuff you know you are going to use later.
  14. I had to go total compression madness to fit those in less than 5 mb, a normal zip couldn\'t (by far) make it. I pointed at 7zip\'s webpage because I think it\'s a better option, but it\'s nice to know winrar also knows how to deal with 7zips.
  15. Yes, when I get some compression issues sorted out I\'ll upload them... Won\'t take much time I hope. Hopefully tomorrow they\'ll be there. Uploaded all the edited command pods in a single package 8) ...excepting the mk1 plane cockpit. It refuses to compress and it\'s way too late to tinker why, I\'ll look into it later.
  16. I am unable to reproduce the bug, I checked the file and it works for me ??? If you are using the latest version could you please provide more info on how it happened?
  17. It seemed like a good idea last night, I like to password everything
  18. Well, thanks for bringing that up. Just tested it Quick guess is that the custom strutified command pod internally links to the same 'internal model' as the main command pod. I don\'t know if I can fix it without a dll. As I said, this kind of multiple pod thingy is not supported in the main game, I think NovaSilisko was coding it, but it didn\'t make it to 0.16. If you use the 1m pod as the main one this glitch doesn\'t happen though, that\'s why I didn\'t notice it while using my munar-rescue-lander. I\'ll investigate. Fixed and reuploaded Removed the empty command pod internal space and crew portraits, while retaining crew holding capabilities. (given the bug with 4+ portraits, they were unnecessary)
  19. 3 Kerbals stranded on Mun 8) You want to rescue them, but your standard command pod can only fit 2 (if you emptied those seats while on Kerbin!) Well, there's a solution... Description The standard command pods, CFG edited to become a strut and available in the Crew tab on the VAB. They're normal parts that you place on your rocket, but you can enter them just like the command pod. Disclaimer or something like that I take absolutely no credit for the models, textures or kerbal lifes saved. That's Squad's work. I just changed some words on a textfile, and uploaded the entire part folder so it's easier to install. Changelog 0.3.1 patch - Fixed stuff for 0.17, IVAs and kerbal portraits work. 0.3 - Added empty versions of the 1m command pod, the mk2 cockpit and the mk3 cockpit. 0.2 - Theoretically fixed bug in Kerbal portraits. 0.1 - Initial release Download 1. Unzip the Emptypods.7z and place the 4 folders inside the Parts folder. 2. Unzip the podsfix.zip and copy its folders in the parts folder. Make sure to click Merge All and Replace All, so essentially you update the old cfgs.
  20. So SE 2 gets released exactly when I start studying. Great! Must. Keep. Reading. Abandon. Forums.
  21. Hey Nova, quick question, what happened to the awesome munar lander you showed a long time ago?
  22. A totally redesigned Silisko Edition was really unexpected. Interesting. If it won\'t replace stock parts... does it mean it will be balanced for stock game? Or will it include new cfg\'s for stock parts? This is confusing. Guess we\'ll see eventually. Even if this ends up just 80% as good as the original it would still be one of the best packs out there if not the best.
  23. It\'s not that OP, it\'s just a simple way to have a powerful rocket. You can make something similar in capabilities with a ton of normal parts. And by the way, I\'d like to see some textures in it. It looks 'placeholdy' right now. Also, Uburian, how are you doing with the GA?
  24. Just wanted to share this. It\'s awesome how getting to Mun gets easier and easier. Just did that new rocket and I was there taking photos in half an hour. It\'s also awesome how well the fuel tank adapters fitted as a lander part. 8)
  25. I have. The false feeling of security it gives it\'s very pleasing. Also, yesterday I noticed I had been 1 month without it because an update _broke it_ Mostly when I get a virus I format. Easier, probably faster and I make entirely sure that I got rid of it (that has only happened 3 times, thanks to noscript and others) Mine also goes fast. But it could be faster, and stop deleting my folder view preferencies, having crapware I cannot unninstall and reloading icon cache every boot.
