also rocket engines should be able to do this. It's like trim but not for all craft, just some engines.
-
but it won't look like it had gimbal
-
at least some of them
-
that would be nice

How do I make auto struts work in career?
rdem replied to Aethon's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
can't it be fixed from a cfg file or something? -
back in early 2012 when i was 14 years old from a video from youtuber namer robbaz

crafts that don't have enough twr to be launched from tylo can be launched horizontally. by this method you can avoid falling by standing on ground and reach enough speed that way. also you don't spend much of your thrust to defeat gravity. i tried it but couldn't do it. hardest thing is bumps on road. i couldn't find a flat surface on tylo. there must be someone did it before but i can't find any thread about it.

how cheap can you go when putting 3 kerbals in a low orbit space station and return by itself. -you have to use 3 manned capsule to do it realistically. -it should be able to dock -it should have a reliable connection to kerbin and a source of electricity -you cant use any reaction wheel and should disable pod's torque (because realism) -it should have a reliable escape/abort system -it should be a classic expandable rocket (no airbreathers or reusubality things) -only things to be refunded will be the pod with heatshield, docking port and parachute(and maybe rcs ports but no extra fuel other than pod's internal monopropellant) i have no idea about a scoring system. only thing is it should be the cheapest

RT-5 "Flea" makes a great cheap upper stage for light payloads
rdem replied to rdem's topic in KSP1 Discussion
also i realized that when you use smaller decoupler between two srbs cause it's lighter, actually it creates way more drag than regular sized decoupler and limits the rocket. -
if you decrease the thrust to a very low level, it lasts very long and is easy to control. with a rt-10 (with thrust limit of 50) lower stage and a rt-5 upper stage (with t limit of 11) i managed to get a small probe with a tiny amount of fuel and an "ant" engine to a 75km sub orbital trajectory with near 2000 m/s speed. two solid boosters cost less than 1000 funds.

i think having only ksc as a control center makes the game way more fun. Geo sync comm network becomes meaningful

In turkey, Imgur is banned because of porn but other sites that have porn like tumblr, twitter is not. And liveleak of course.

Fairings and cargo/service bays reduce/neglect the drag of the things inside it. If you put something in a mk1 empty fuelsage does this also happen.

A rocket's altitude changes so fast. So, to sustain a high trust with an airbreathing engine you have to follow a shallow path. And that creates much friction and heat.

This kind of videos were a thing at 2010-2013 which were called Youtube Poop. But This may not be a good example. I selected it because it was about space. Since this trend died; we can do a remebering. i recently re-discovered it. some memories came to mind. So I shared this.

However, many of greatest philosophers, mathematicians etc. were middle eastern (not all middle easterns are arabs). Actually there is the root of civilization. Sadly, things changed by the time.

That's what happens if only thing matters is phisycal power. Humans are far more complex to simplify like that. Just an idea can change the balance of power easily.
-
is exploitation of others is a part of our nature. If there is such a thing since the early history, i think that's what human is. Will any person has power above others want to lose it?

within last few years i come accross with a new breed of popular youtubers. it's different from popular gaming channels that mostly kids watch or some dudes doing pranks and dumb sketches or even dumber things. i'm talking about the channels that a personality dictates his opinions to people on stupid subjects. people watch these people with no intelligence talk about things that don't matter. Why?

The tech tree progression is ridiculous
rdem replied to Wjolcz's topic in KSP1 Suggestions & Development Discussion
i think current carreer (and science) mode -at some point- forces the player to do the things far beyond the current technological or economical capability. for example you don't have enough funds and science to do a proper mun mission when mun contracts start. milestone contracts like "orbit the kerbin" appear early before you can make proper proggress and earn relatively advanced parts to do so. you end up landing on mun in a ridiculous way with some low tech parts. or trying to do research with some devices from every meaningless locations. bothering with other random contracts like "testing some parts in absurd ways and locations" "sending some satellites" etc. makes the game very repetitive and boring. if it's a game and the priority is fun, this is not a fun way.
