I'm really at a loss on how the battle would turn out. Wait are you using your new 230 ton Drekevak XXX Battlecruiser or are you using the old Heavy Drekevak Mk XXVII-III or Drekevak Mk XIV-XI. Please use the NEW ONE you've just built (the one with the sneak preview, what model is that by the way?)

I've set up my ships on Gilly, zekes: named: ATLANTIS A, B, and C HERE IS THE PERSIST: GILLY BATTLE - http://www./download/7k0atbj3kcrh43c/Gilly_Battle.sfs
-
What's her stats? what about our fight? Here is my ship
-
I have a new space missile too.. not a compact as yours, about 1.5x the size. Would you like to test her armament? You can stuff 12 I can only use 8 on my new ship but they are all purpose missiles one that you can fire at long range. I guess yours is used for direct fire right? or do you have two versions? Please give it a test, you can download it on my thread, first post. (just click the Kraken )
-
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! SHINY! do you have one for 0.25? I would like to test it. That missile is very compact looks like its clipped.
-
Megalodon 720, your ships are not that accurate, what's the problem? did you place your core modules properly aligned with the armament? or is there something wrong in the weight distribution on your individual SRB's/SRM's when fired. (I had the same problem when I used radial decouplers for my SRB's/SRM's, it turns out that left over parts on the side has some weight that could throw out a well aimed shot. Even misplaced parts can do it or a minor force from the adjacent missile)
-
I'll set up my ships then.
-
Ohhh! I really like the first and third ship!
-
I thought I just share this here. (I'll reference here someday) I've made an Eve Base. I delivered it there part by part. Eve Hub Supply Truck 1 Supply Truck 2 Connectors Satellite
-
That ship made my battlecruiser look like a frigate. Very cool!
-
I'm a second year student at my University. What about our fight? can I use that persist for our own separate fight? or are we going to setup another one. I'll try if I can open that persist with my 0.25 version to test it.

Since everybody is talking about colonialism, may I ask a question? although I can google it I want to know what you people think. Has the Philippines ever been under British rule? as far as I know there are rumors that the British came here around the same time as the Spanish in the philippines. If you have heard of the Spanish-American War in the Philippines. I've heard that there is a third party participating specifically the British during colonial times.
-
She's beautiful, what's her armament? and fuel count? As I know, as long as you don't use new parts in 0.90 then it should be fine. But let's try it first, send me a persist where you deploy ships built in 0.90 without the new parts.
-
Do you still have 0.25? Do you want to battle with me? Let's go one on one what do you think? I was thinking 300 tons just the same. I was thinking the Duna Battle was going to take some time. I prefer fast paced game.
-
If that's the case, I there anyone here who wants to fight me one on one? on 0.25 if anyone still has it. I just really want to test my ship.
-
I can't download the 0.90 guess I'm stuck on 0.25
-
What version are you using? Does 0.25 have no problem when I load a 0.90 persistent?
-
THAT EXPLAINS IT! I thought we were missing something on the mass, the mass difference of the sepatrons. You are the one who pinpointed it. It would not have happened if it weren't for this thread cause we are the ones using sepatrons excessively and exclusively for missiles.

Three1415: I'm downloading the patch now. Three1415: Well I was assuming the smaller ships have the same good armor as the larger ships, so we really can't judge the outcome anymore because we design ships differently. ejudedude13: I'm downloading the patch now. I made an Supercharged I-beam Missile with 24 sepatrons each it is made up of three (3) I-beams, one in the middle and two at the side (It acts as a whole). It's heavier and slower than most missiles (top speed of about 500-550+ m/s in the atmosphere shooting up) but it gives quite the punch I'm looking for, not too fast where it usually disintegrates on impact with the panel it hits and not to heavy as to slow it down, but just right to deliver the damage I'm looking for at the right distance. Three I-beams on one missile is better because at least one of them will deliver the momentum even if the the other I-beams disintegrate. I'VE GOT A 50/50 CHANCE THAT ONE OF MY I-BEAMS DISINTEGRATING ON IMPACT BECAUSE OF IT'S MOMENTUM, IT SOMETIMES EVEN KILLS THE SHIP IT IS PUT ON WHEN YOU LAUNCH FOUR (4) OF THEM SIMULTANEOUSLY. I keep it as subassembly now cause the Tire Warheads have better potential.

Aww, that's means I cannot join, I don't want 0.90. I still don't have it yet. Holy, I thought I already know that, turns out it's a law. Cool! I was really hoping not to win because of that, I just wanted to test my ship in battle because the truth is smaller forces are more efficient in an actual battle. (Boardgame nerd here lol! Game theory FTW!) Yeah this thread is getting/moving too fast. I was also thinking that we should do it. It should be separated for Space Battles, Naval Battles, Land Battles and Hopefully Aerial Battles. If people here agree on the 0.90, I will withdraw from the battle and seek a one on one using 0.25 but I hope we still use 0.25
-
Mr Tegu, Spartwo - what version are you using? If it's 0.25 could I join? if both of you are using 0.90 then I will not join you.
-
I've used 0.25 version for that persist. We should continue (please..) THe qestion is, how many here has got 0.90 and 0.25?
-
Unfortunately there is no atmospheric battles here, tanks can be turn based but Aircraft one on one is not available, I guess you'll need DMP (Dark Multiplayer) for that but as far as I know I doesn't work, We can do battle with ships, tanks, and starship on orbit but no aircraft dogfights between two players.

I have found the problem: The map on the tracking station displays a different mass. (e.g. 146.56 tons, somehow the craft is heavier than the info displayed when you fly the ship directly) while the map where you are directly piloting the ship shows a different one. (e.g. 143.74 tons lighter) I guess some parts with mass are not shown/included on the ship map view while the tracking station shows the mass of the ship during launch where it may still include other parts such as the launch clamps or maybe decouplers. Another possible reason are those massless parts like struts, they may have a hidden mass (or something we don't know of) Here are my deployed ships by the way: Persistent file: http://www./download/k5ajjpkll101xp8/Duna+Source+Zamovinar.sfs

Also, here's our persist: https://www.dropbox.com/s/m60se750ejm4f83/persistent.sfs?dl=0 I'll send my ships now. But before we start we should test it properly if there is any missing mass on the ships (bug) I used to design a missile that could penetrate the armor itself but not completely, half of it's part could phase through the armor and cause damage on the insides but I abandoned it because it's limited to certain length of the M-Beam 650 I-Beam as warhead and how easily it could be countered by thick armor.
