Thanks for the help, I managed to restore a version from earlier this year. Not so bad I suppose, but still fairly annoying.

I was adjusting my volume with the function keys and accidentally loaded my "last quicksave" (hold F9). The problem is that was apparently last year and when I tried loading my regular save it took me to the same point. Any way I can undo this? I've lost my under-construction-in-orbit space station and my probe on escape trajectory from the solar system. Not sure about saved craft designs.
