  1. That does not at all answer my question. They are of significant importance since I intend to balance them myself. At least for my own personal playthrough. Before that, however, I need to know what effect it would have to muck around with those values at all; inadvertent, gamebreaking effects, that is.
  2. Does anyone know? If not, I'm just going to have to screw around and find out.
  3. Ah, PEGI. The European equivalent of the American committee of videogame censorship known as the ESRB. Keeping the world's children safe by labeling KSP as "violent". It's fine if little Timmy and little Suzy see a Challenger disaster documentary on TV, but heaven help their little souls if they accidentally blow up some space frogs! I wish you the best of luck.
  4. So, I've been dabbling in a little MM patching here and there. For example, making sensors (thermometer, etc) transmit 100% of their data instead of a laughable 35%-ish. After unlocking the Gravioli detector in my current career I noticed something . . . annoying. It took forever to transmit the data, no matter which antenna I used. They all transmitted the same percentage chunks albeit at varying rates. Looking into this I discovered that the only real difference between any antennae (even the Remote Tech antennae I also have installed) is the rate at which packets are transmitted and how much EC it costs to transmit each packet. Aside from that all antenna transmit at 2mit/s; FREAKING ALL OF THEM. My question is: Why? Is it some magical value that, if altered, will unravel the very fabric of spacetime? Will a packetSize of 3 somehow glitch the data being transmitted? Or, is it simply because 2 is everyone's favorite number/simpler to balance? :/
  5. First, make sure you're using the maintenance version and not the one in the first post. The official version is only compatible with version 0.90. Second, make sure there aren't any conflicts with other mods happening. Which other mods are you using? Third, make sure you're not trying to run KSP on a GLADOS powered potato.
  6. Speaking of whom, how is Bac9? He hasn't been squashed by an errant asteroid someone decided to lithobrake, has he? And the new Mk2 parts? I'm still giddy from the first pictures; I hope he shows another teaser soon.
  7. Wrong guy. I wasn't the one struggling; I was the one advising the guy that was struggling, who never responded.
  8. Are you trying to install the outdated official version which isn't compatible with KSP v1.0.4? The only compatible version is the "maintenance port" in Blowfish's signature. It's not balanced or finished but it is mostly working.
  9. I doubt there is a discrete "percent" to give. First, there is the "maintenance port" in Blowfish's signature. That is updating current items to be compatible with 1.0.4; it mostly already is aside from balance concerns. Secondly, Bac9 is working on an update to the Mk2 parts and well as updating some core features before there will be an official release. He's been gone for a while and I'm not sure if he's back yet or what his progress is. So, 60%? Ish?
  10. Not to be snarky, but you could try reading what you just quoted. It says it is in Blowfish's signature. Now, who posted just 30 minutes before you? Does he have a signature? There you go.
  11. His username is LinuxGuruGamer (LGG), so I'd say that's a sort of signature.
  12. Personally I'd switch up Tier 1 and Tier 2. Tier 1 should be Active/Passive with no fuel transfer in 0.625m and 1.25m size. Tier 2 should be Active/Passive with fuel transfer in all three sizes.
  13. How many mods do you have, Smash? Do you use Active Texture Management? Try using -force-opengl. If you're running steam then just open Properties and find Set Launch Options on the first tab.
