  1. But why would there be a pdf file? Is there some other place I can upload this to?
  2. apparently the link goes to a web page where you can download the file from.
  3. Ok the plane is here http://wikisend.com/download/157790/laythe-probe-launch.craft also it's important to know that only stages 3, and 4 are actually used for the plane. The rest are used for the rocket that it will be carrying into orbit (clever don't ya think?).
  4. I'm pretty sure it is (well except for mechjeb, but I find mechjeb helps a lot with the building process).
  5. I kind of want to get a real navball like the one in the game and hook it up to my car (because that would awesome ). I can't seem to find anything about it on google that doesn't just talk about the ones in the game. I'm just wanting something that would always point in the same direction.
  6. It seems to be lacking enough thrust. It has a LF+O engine on it for when it gets into orbit, but if I use it on takeoff then it can get into the air, but when I turn it off it falls again. Is there some way I can upload the plane to here for someone to check on?
  7. When you say units of lift, do you mean the lift coefficient (like the 'lift' number listed for each wing in the game)?
  8. When I first landed on the Mün my first thought was "They should add a big amusement park here".
  9. I've been thinking about the gameplay for this game, and I started to realize that getting from one planet to another is pretty fun; but when you get to the planet, there doesn't seem to be very much to do other than science experiments. So then I was reading about the polar caps on Mars and I thought: What if there were serious dangers on the various planets? Like maybe thin ice on some planet that would break if you put too much weight on them? Or the possibility of meteorites smashing into your ship?
  10. Doesn't drag have anything to do with it? I've tried building it with that advice and it seems to be having trouble staying in the air. It keeps slowing down and falling.
  11. I'm trying to get into orbit and I can't seem to figure out a way to caculate how far the basic jet engine, and the turbo jet engine will take me before I need to switch to liquid fuel+oxidizer engines. I've noticed that it seems that the basic jet engine only takes me up to the top of the light blue bar in the atmosphere indicator, and the turbo jet engine only seems to take me to half way into the next bar in the atmosphere indicator.
