1. beautiful mod, MK 1-2 would be nice to do it in silver version as the Apollo or the Orion!
2. if I can give a couple of tips to make the mod 100% realistic: -theRCS engines are too small compared to the service module; -the RCS "side" are not two but one; -I Do more silver gray color ... in the game seems too white; -The engine of the service module is off; -the eight smaller engines of the service module would use them as RCS; -Fairings I would do with the procedural fairings
3. I checked and the difference of the angles was due to the fact that the heat shield ablative is not joined to the capsule but a separate piece, sorry ... I just saw that you did the 'EUS in the old version ... I am attaching some photos of EUS current XD I recommend the same diameter as the central stage of the CLS The Skylab II is the new Skylab whisker version but based on the SLS. Essentially a tank used as habitat.
4. Truly a beautiful mod! The only flaw is the shape of Orion ... the base angles are too acute ... But the SLS and textures are perfect! instead of working on Altair, he works at the MAV or have real rover nasa ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94bIW7e1Otg is also the Skylab II ... you make your own mod only!
5. Mod released !!!! http://en.spaceengine.org/forum/17-3273-1
6. A couple of days of work ... but if I'm interested to release the Mod forum of SE ... the time to fix the last details XD
7. Hi, I wanted to show my latest work, a realistic map of Titan, but with some of my personal touch to make it more beautiful to the eye.:D I started from last map in infrared released by the Cassini team and I replaced the data with those of the poles of the radar, to have a better resolution of the coasts of the seas! My main intention was it to have a better map for the Real Solar System, since the current one is not beautiful:(. But I also loaded on spaceengine ... and with adequate Bumpmap here the seas that come to life! I hope you enjoyed it and that is really inserted in RSS!
8. They released a mosaic of the entire disk of Pluto to a crazy resolution!
9. Very high resolution map of Pluto released recently by teams of new horizons! http://pluto.jhuapl.edu/Multimedia/Science-Photos/pics/pmap_cyl_PS723_HR.jpg
10. So do you think there can't be nitrogen liquid lake under the sputnik planum, kept liquid by pressing the same planum and that helps the convection in the ice evidently semi-fluid?
11. My personal idea of the internal structure of Pluto and the area of sputnik planum..
12. Actually this photo hides a secret ... the photo on the left is unpublished and not part of a stereo pair ... it is a mosaic of two photos ... is the full picture of Pluto with the resolution that we will have higher resolution , it has a resolution of 2.2 kilometers per pixel.
13. yeeee then I'm not the only one to believe that it is full of small cryovolcan! Daishi thanks to improved processing;) By tomorrow should release the RAW of this mosaic, maybe I can identify more ... - - - Updated - - - The red arrow indicates the direction of the wind and tails Geyser ... you've clearly identified in blue ... the white line does not know what is.
14. Here a zoom elaborate ... I increased the contrast ...
15. There seem to be very thin tails geysers everywhere, but they are very thin, almost imperceptible ... little wind or low activity? I marked in red and the direction of the queues with two arms the mouth of the alleged geysers. what do you think?
16. Thanks to this excellent development, where the artifacts are completely gone, we can see better the structure of the dark spots with the tail ... infrontandoli with dark stain-free tail we can see that the softer edges. Detail of no small matter given the resolution and size ... seems Stano fact that the center of a geyser had a size of about a couple of Km ... Maybe they are points where they are concentrated in a small space dozens if not hundreds of small geysers . On the occasion of maybe very violent eruptions then the material would have moved more by the formation zone by creating the tail, thin in comparison to those of Triton. The trigger mechanism may be the same exactly of Mars, on sea we see the geyser-rich areas of ice carbon dioxide, just like here.
17. But the bullet holes are veeeery interesting ...
18. Ok, This processing is magnificent!
19. you go to visit an object of the Kuiper Belt ... identified recently by hubble just for new horizons .. will be the 'most distant object ever visited
20. the dimensions increase as the eye!
21. This is my reading of the new images of Pluto ... I do not know if anyone has noticed already, but seems to see a rille that crosses the disk of Pluto. It could also be a mountain range or even better a fault in the ice ... Ocean? Besides, this white stripe runs after the big ring clear ... strengthening my theory of a ring similar to those Io's volcanic.
22. Interesting! What program did you use? Tanto vale parlare in italiano... Interessante! Quale programma hai usato?
23. the atmosphere of Pluto is very dynamic and very little would be enough to get allla minimum pressure ... maybe not a real ocean, but maybe a wetland as the equatorial dunes of Titan...
24. the most interesting thing is the dark area near the 'equator ... would be a big ocean of liquid nitrogen?
