  1. In the end I solved this by making Steam start the x86_64 version of KSP. So far it turned out to be much more stable for me than starting KSP with the default STEAM options.
  2. I tried a new carreer; different spacecraft, this time no other kerbonauts floating around in space (in fact in my previous carreer I intended a double rescue!). Same issue. Game crashes (window just closes, no error window or something like that).
  3. KSP Version: Linux Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS / x86_64 build id = 00705 Version 0.90.0 Beta Steam version (running game from Steam, assuming I run the 32 bit version in that case?) What happens Every time I get close to a kerbonaut in orbit that needs rescueing (the first kerbonaut in the carreer that needs rescue), the game crashes. This seems to happen when I reach the 2.2 km distance. This happened about 6 times now (100% reproducable). I tried in different ways: - get in reach while in staging window (crashes while in staging view when getting in reach) - get in reach while in orbiting window (crashes in orbiting view when getting in reach) - get in reach while in space center (crashes when entering spacecraft) - getting in reach on speed x1, try getting in reach speed higher than x1 - changing some graphics settings Screenshot none Craft & Save Files none Crash/Output logs http://we.tl/wyh6MWQtrj System specifications http://we.tl/W04KuPNUQC
