  1. Managed to figure it out, seemed I had not copied over a working copy of Module Manager.
  2. Hello fellow KPS players. Been away from KSP for the summer, just loaded up and unsurprisingly loads of updates and out of date add ons. Decided on a fresh install and added the latest remote tech, it's installed correctly as upon loading it shows a new (to me) pop up where you can configure the app but when I start a new sandbox game no matter how far I travel (farthest I have tried is Mun) I don't lose control. Am I missing something? Thanks for any help.
  3. Dear all I have reinstalled KSP and am trying to install remote tech but it doesn't seem to be working. All I have done is downloaded the field as per usual and placed it in my game data folder. Has anything change recently with remote tech or KSP that means it requires something differently to be done? EDIT: Ignore me, it seems I didn't have module manager installed which I think it the problem, all working now.
  4. Thanks MeCripp, been playing around with Kinetic Predator but it's not really working for me in game. Where do I place this?
  5. Thanks for all the quick answers, I shall check out the Kinetic Predator
  6. Hello I have downloaded the Rods from the Gods mod: http://www.curse.com/ksp-mods/kerbal/226577-rods-from-the-gods I have placed it in my game data folder like other mods but it doesn't seem to work. Anyone else use this mod and know what I am doing wrong? Thanks
  7. Thank you. Just did a very quick test. Sent a rocket straight up and soon after it lost contact and spun out of control so seems to be working now.

  9. Loved Remote Tech prior to KSP 1.0 but I am having loads of trouble with the latest version. Firstly I seem to be able to launch an unmanned probe and fly it to in the region of 190,000m yet it stays connected to the space centre. I just launched my first satellite to set up a three sat network clicking on my DTS-M1 it allows me to extend but I cannot find anyway to aim it at the space centre like we used to do. Is remote tech working for KSP 1.0 or am I doing something wrong which is probably more likely. Appreciate any help. P.S. My sole satellite is now not he other side of the planet beyond the visual range of the space centre yet I have full control. Odd.
  10. Good evening all. I used remote tech prior to KSP 1.0 and enjoyed it. Just installed it in 1.0 and then built a very basic rocket with no pilot and no telecommunications equipment to launch and then check it installed okay by waiting for the rocket to leave the control of Kerbal Space Centre. Thing is despite ascending to to 100,000m or so I can still control the rocket. Locking in the VAB all the additional antenna are available but not sure why I have this issue. No doubt it is my fault. Any help would be appreciated.
  11. I'm having a similar problem. I can see my saved rocket but clicking it does nothing
  12. Evening all I recently discovered KSP and after enjoying the demo I purchased the full game through Steam. Been mainly messing about in sandbox getting to know the controls and how to play. After getting two capsules stuck in orbit I decided it was time for a rescue mission. I went about designing and testing rockets to meet the mission parameters. After several steps I am happy with my design, I saved my design then rescued my first capsule. This evening I thought I would attempt rescue number two but I cannot load my rocket. I enter the VAB and I can select the load button and my rocket is listed in amongst a number of others (I presume these are stock design as they are not mine). The problem is that when I select my design nothing appears in the VAB. I have Engineer Redux and Chatterer installed. Could anyone help please? I don't want to have to build my rocket from scratch each time.
