  2. No, only the Venera (Bombard/Fomalhault) core messes up. I tried again using just the Progress and Salyut cores only, and they didn't clip into the world. Venera goes right through the planet most times, sometimes sinking in to the middle on the launch pad. Test flown it to Eve, it appears to have 0 physics with the ground and it clips right on through and the only thing "holding" it to the planet's surface is the parachute on the top. Core half-clipping into the launch pad: Core clipping through Eve completely, stopped only by the top mounted chute: Progress appears just fine: Salyut appears fine also: Here is a clean save with the latest Tantares installed as the only mod used, the core goes right through the planet and into the water: Any ideas? I've had to hold off on a few missions now with that core being all screwy :/ I've tried this with a new save and the latest release of Tantares, and even a rolled back version of the mod, all the same result
  3. Hiya Beale, Quick question, and I tried googling it up and looking through the forums, but could have missed it. Is the Venera probe core (fomalhaut) known to be .. glitchy? Every time I have it in world, it literally falls through the ground..on any celestial body. It used to work just fine several updates ago, but I haven't used it in a while and I've updated the mod since (clean installation), and now I find it just...falling through the ground. Any ideas?

  5. Doing Jeb's work there, Augustus! I'm with a lot of people on this one, I love old HGR so keeping it going for 1.0 would be beyond excellent while we wait for the reboot to finish. KSP just doesn't feel the same without my beloved 1.875's
  6. Seems like there's an issue with MM and the integrated antenna on the Soy Juice solar panels. When MM is in the Game Data, I can't extend or use the antenna at all..right clicking doesn't show any options for it either in flight (strangely enough it shows the extend option while in the VAB but it doesn't respond to commands, and outside the VAB there's simply no options for it). Craft in flight doesn't register any antenna on craft. I double checked for multiple instances of MM in sub folders and I came up clean..and when I removed the primary MM from Game Data, the panels return to their full function.
  7. Awesome! And thanks for the reply. I can't wait to see how the new ones turn out. As it is, HGR is my favorite mod period for Soyuz analogues, so I wonder what the new looks are going to be. Also, I found what was affecting the HGR inline chutes (turns out it also affected the larger model too), it was a conflict from a Tantares cfg, specifically "Tantares_Extra_RealChute.cfg" that was causing them to lose their chute capability. Thankfully that didn't take as long to troubleshoot as I feared...I'm just putting it out there in case someone else has similar problem so they aren't pulling their hair out
  8. ;.;Oh no...that was one of my favorite parts of the mod..it's the little engine that could! I wonder what I'm going to do with my Soyuz builds then, adding an engine on the butt really breaks up the look. Browsing through the posts though, it seems you're scrapping it to make way for the possibility of a modifiable SM? That would be neat...add engine/fuel types/Jeb's body in the boot to customize the load... Also, I'm having an odd issue with the MK.18 Inline Chute...the chute itself is simply not part of the object, only the decoupler...I realized this thankfully when I was still able to revert the save, but..it took me by surprise. I tried my google-fu at the problem but the only thing I see come up for that part is an old post about it bugging in the Research, and the offending part2.cfg, which my folder doesn't have (I checked, just in case that was causing this different bug) Here's a pic of what I'm seeing: Anyways, I'm anxious to see what you've got cooking up for your reboot...made an account just to respond and show support for your HGR, it's by far my favorite mod in Kerbal...I'm in love with the 1.875 form factor and the CM/OM's that go with the whole ensemble. Keep up the good work!
