Today I took a stock SSTO craft I've been working on for a while out for one last flight before 1.0

Today I finished my stock ion shuttle so my kerbals can go sightseeing pretty much anywhere in the system. I tried to take advantage of mass-less parts as much as possible and this is what I came up with. If the mass of all of the parts was counted it would weigh 1.7t but in game it is only 0.87t with about half of its mass not being calculated. Most of that is cubic octagonal struts, solar panels, and batteries. It has enough fuel to go wherever you want and the low mass means that burns don't take forever.

Here is my submission, the ThunderBat! It can land on Minmus and get back to Kerbin. Hope you like it! My vote has to go to Overfloater. The first time I saw that thing it blew my mind.

My first post! Today I tested my stock, ion powered, gliding, Duna rover on Kerbin. It was very stable driven in docking mode and when I hit a jump I found out it could fly! It seemed perfectly balanced in flight as well so I decided to land it at the Island Base. I didn't need to use the SAS or RCS on Kerbin but I'm sure they will help on Duna.
