  1. What if I edit my altitude in a data string about me? Will I appear on my roof?
  2. omg a three foot wave! the bacteria and amoebae must run for their lives afaik if i drop a rock into the sea the ripples count as a tsunami even though they are lost instantly.
  3. Eat. And eat. And eat. Then speedwalk for twenty minutes. Before sunrise. Outside in the cold. Five days a week. Twice a day. You said at school.
  4. A few months ago I created a thread about evaporating Mars' southern polar cap to create a positive feedback effect that would result in a Mars with perhaps twenty or thirty percent of Earth's pressure and a significant temperature rise. Using a device like the ones mentioned in this thread would be the easiest way to accomplish the evaporation of the polar dry ice.
  5. Ganymede is over 165 times Ceres' mass. Even Europa, the smallest Galilean moon, is 3.3 times wider and 51.1 times more massive than Ceres is.
  6. I sent a satellite to Moho. This is the first mission I've really done for a while (aside from doing random checks on existing craft and using the source code for breaking the game). The image is viewable if you right-click the tiny question mark thing and open it in a new tab/window.
  7. I messed with the persistent.sfs and everybody on Kerbin died. Except three clones, which were also the product of me horsing around in the source code. I still don't know what happened, or why those three survived. Jeb, Bill, and Bob were not on Kerbin at the time. They were in Prometheus Station orbiting it, and survived the... whatever that was. A 12-kerbal base on Dres turned into a single, unmanned hitchhiker module. A nearby ascent vehicle survived intact, without anybody in it. The transfer vehicle orbiting Dres had its engines, docking ports, and main fuel tank disappear, and its crew is gone as well. Also, Minmus disappeared. I had a base there. Then I had some debris, a rover, an OAV, and a levitating hitchhiker module. Then I had a levitating everything because Minmus isn't being rendered but its collision box is. KSP crashed while I wrote the previous sentence. All of this started when I went into the persistent.sfs and changed an asteroid's class from 0 to 30, and its mass from 150 to 2000000000.
  8. Hello, I do not know how to edit the save file in KSP. I assume it is persistent.sfs, all of which I have located but cannot open on my computer (Mac OSX 10.8.5, KSP 1.0.4 from Steam). How do I open the files?
  9. in terms of climate Hawaii = Hawaii Mars = Mars also in terms of climate Mars/Tharsis = airless ~Hawaii Hawaii/Mauna Kea = ~Hellas Planitia with weather iirc hawaii is hawaii. not even close to mars. hawaii is the place with hot humid air and grass skirts and the volcanoes are active. mars is the place with barely any air at all, it is almost always below freezing and the volcanoes are dead. atacama desert and mcmurdo valleys are jungles compared with mars. also, nobody wears grass skirts on mars.
  10. I saw someone named "Jebediah Kerman" in Agario.
  11. KSP: 1.0.4 from Steam OS: OSX 10.8.5 Over the time since updating KSP to 1.0.4, I have noticed that multiple probe core parts have rotation bugs that are significantly affecting the gameplay. When SAS is off, ships containing these probe cores will lean to one random direction and spin. SAS counteracts this, but only to an extent. Ships containing the probe cores will be more responsive when the keyboard tells them to lean towards the direction they are already attempting to, and will encounter resistance when the keyboard tells them to lean in the opposite direction. They also react to EVA kerbals' movements on the ground and using the EVA jetpacks. The probe cores I have found this bug on are: 2.5m probe core 1.25m probe core Mk2 probe core OKTO2 There are probably more. I have a video of a Kerbal walking around on Minmus and controlling, through the aforementioned bug, a nearby ship using a 1.25m probe core.
  12. Earth is moving around the Sun at 30km/s. The sun is moving around the galaxy at 230km/s. The galaxy is moving toward a ludicrously massive object called the Great Attractor at 626km/s. So at any given moment, the Earth is moving at a minimum speed of 366km/s, or 0.122% c. Why don't we see any time dilation here?
  13. Venus' clouds are sulphuric acid vapour. Earth's clouds are water vapour. Mars has very little to speak of in clouds, when there are any they will likely be water vapour. Titan's clouds are methane IIRC.
  14. I have done this before. I turned off gravity and dropped a Kerbal onto the edge of the runway on phys warp. It takes a couple of tries.
  15. hi guys we may next see a tree with eyes
  16. False. We don't have those here. Or those. TUBM lives in the Northern Hemisphere.
