Hi everyone, Well I figured out how to add kerbals to open cockpit vehicles, and this has spurred me onto certain things, but I am completely stumped on the basics of how to get a helicopter rotor to produce lift and balance. Now I know how to make a rocket or jet engine work, and I know there is a Helicopter add on at Kerbal Stuff, but I am looking to make this bird fly As is. http://i571.photobucket.com/albums/ss157/Niles_Ferrier/screenshot117_zpslparialk.png' alt='screenshot117_zpslparialk.png'> Yes its the OH6 LIttlebird, or commonly known as the LOACH. The model is a free to use model, and I have set up the three main meshes (Fuselage) Tail rotor and Main Rotor, but i have absolutley no idea how to get the rotors to spin up and or provide lift and Yaw. Maybe its asking to much? Anyway, thanks for your consideration and in advance I apologize if this is in the wrong place. "Niles"

Well I finally finished up with things, Below are my M12 Light Recon Vehicle line up. I know someone made one for KSP, i kinda added to the concept. just showing the models off, I present, RECON SQUAD DELTA. (**NOTE** Wheels are from the Warthog on KerbalStuff, cant remember the authors name. the Vehicles are not, they are from free 3d models) "Niles" (P.s.) I wonder if i can get a Kerbal to sit at the Turret? I had this model lying about, and then I saw one availible for download at Kerbalstuff, I figured I would try to add the external command seat to the unit, (two times) for driver and passenger, which works, but I cant get them out once installed unless I roll the vehicle. Just showing off my Awesome Satellite Maintenance vehicle, Well when i say Maintenance, what i mean is shooting down old Sats. kinda fun, and an effective cleaning tool. Equipped with the all new Mr Fusion MK 1 Resource Reactor. SSTO, SSTA, (Single stage to anywhere). -

Well my latest and arguably greatest is the A10 Warthog. Now thanks to a fellow named BahamutoD and his wonderful array of armaments, This baby is packing the 30mm gatlin gun up in the nose, it can carry an impressive variety of munitions, and as seen in this image, it can pin point eliminate the fuel dumps around the complex. (May sound like militant actions, but i was bored) The plane is a 3d mesh, adopted for the game, the Arms are from BahamutoD, and I finally figured out Ailerons, Rudders, and Elevators. The only issue i have is the Body collider while it shows up in Unity, disappears in the game, dont know why. The B52H, can hold a Huge bomb load, (or a test plane under the wing) its a cow to fly, manuver, but great altitude, and excellent range. -

well it is a mod file, the plane is, i found an F18 on an off site for kerbal stuff, flies great, all i did was assemble this model and cut n paste cfg files to get it working. pm me. "Niles"

Well with the help off a few people here, i wa able to get working elerons built, but now i have another set of silly questions, FLAPS, are they similar in the setting up process in Unity? Volets, basically a leading edge flap, Similar? (Does anyone know if there is a working Variable VTOL engine mod?) The AV8 has a need for such a set up. "Niles"

Well I got it from another kerbal site, its a MOD, its heavily dependant on Bahamutod's weapons and landing gear. they fly real nice. -

I am a bit confused about how a control surface is animated in the game. I have read that there should be a base_object and that the engine looks for the ctrl_surface. now comes the confusion. X,Y,Z in unity? also does the control surface actually need the base_object to work? how does one adjust the speed in which a control surface moves? kinda a beginners question. (sorry, N00B here) "Niles"

Ah, Ok, well I have seen some space facilities, and it seemed strange that there was no "Wind Tunnel" facility. then it got me thinking (Like I said, I do this a lot), if there was only a way to design a vehicle, then jump to the "Wind Tunnel" to test it first, then if all goes well, launch/fly it off the ground. The wind tunnel is an integral part of the space program. (Seems to be costly to crash and burn). Thanks for the replies. "Niles"

I was thinking, (and I do this a lot these days), Is there a "Mod" that adds a wind tunnel to test aerodynamics? or does one just use the Airstrip? if this question is dumb, please delete it. Thanks.
