Man, it's been like 3 years since i uploaded anything here, and i still somehow manage to get an honorable mention . Cheers to whoever managed to dig that one up. And congrats to all the winners.

Merry Christmas folks. Time to finally upload something that's been sitting around about 4 years. A giant papermodel of a KSP craft im very fond of. The Fouglas FC-8 is one of my older designs, the first one i built when the new MK-3 cockpit arrived along with some of the other revamped parts. It was a very exiting time. The first thing after checking out the new parts that i wanted to do, was to build some form of a 4-engined passenger/cargo-plane and this is what i came up with. Looking at it now, i still really like the overall design, even tough it definitely has it's flaws. As-well as being really fond of this design, there was another important aspect that made it perfect this sort of thing. Because it was built at such an early stage, the offset and rotation tools hadn't been added yet. It's all nice and easy to do ingame, but try offsetting a bunch of paper part's inside one-another. Back then i didn't really care about the overall size of the project, i wanted something big and that's exactly what i got, and then some. The model had 23 pages of parts, with a lot of them having to be duplicated many times, added to that was the Shuttle that had 10 pages of parts. The length of the model is prettymuch exactly 100cm, the wingspans is also brobably about 90cm As i mentioned above, i started this project 4 years ago, back then there where no issues with space, as at that point i had basically the entire upstairs of our old house all for myself. I worked on the project for a while until it went on a pretty long pause. By the time the project continued, we had already moved to that small apartment in the edge of city that was way too small for me, and witch could not have fit a model of this size. Now i finally again have the space for such a thing, as-well as the time and motivation. Here is the state of the project after those 4 years. Bit's and pieces of the model where stored in 4 different places, and im amazed everything was still there. There was the assembled fuselage with the nose-gear installed, the box of assembled small bits, skins for the elevators and rudder, and finally the pile of bits that form the skins for the main-wings. Yep, the wing surfaces where so massive i had no choice other that to build the piece by piece just like in the game, tough i had to technically do it twice as i had to build the lower and upper surfaces separately. The elevators and rudder followed the same theme. Rest of the aircraft was also built pretty-much like in the game, piece by piece. The nose gear for instance has 2 tires, two I-beams, two small cubic struts, and a rokea lamp. My original plan for the wings was to cut a piece of cardboard and glue the skins on to that, but i decided to instead make some wing-spars from 1mm thick iron-wire and some cocktail-sticks. The model is still a real pain to try and store as it is simply massive. It's also pretty-much on a clock right now, as im pretty sure it's going to share the same fate as the giant airship model, tough this time i have a plan. By just cutting some bits of tape, i can quickly slide the wings and the wing-spars off. The fuselage itself is really strong, aswell as the landing-gears, but the wings are simply too large and don't have the appropriate supports in place. even if the thing does fall apart, it doesn't really matter, im just super happy i actually got the thing built and to stay together in the first place. As the main function of this aircraft kinda turned in to that of the SCA, i taught it'd make sense to build a shuttle to go along with this one. I taught that recreating my original shuttle would not be the best idea as it would result in a lot of repetition as it's built from a lot of the same parts, so i chose the KOS shuttle instead. Tough now that i look at it, it looks a little too cartoony on top of the FC-8. Maby one day i will design something special to go on top of the FC-8. The version of the FC-8 you see in that pick, is actually a special "papercraft" version i made of the aircraft. It's a mix and match of the different features that appeared on the different versions of the FC-8. I basically kept on upgrading it as new revamped parts appeared. It was also built in a way that would make it even more papercraft friendly. And there it is, another version of my fondest design, i hope you enjoyed taking a look . PS: i doubt ill make anymore KSP related papermodels, but i do have some more 3D-printable stuff on the works.

Unfortunately no, this is all the progress i made before i ran out of motivation/energy. Dunno when im gonna continue the build, but it has been on the back of my mind for the longest time.

Good lord, it's been 4 months since i uploaded anything. Sorry about that, ive been absolutely buried in work and haven't had the time to play KSP, until very recently. Work continues on the WWII replica fleet project. Pretty-much all of the aircraft ive built so far for the project have now received their national colors, or at-least a part of them. I still have tons of other decals to create, and a large number of the aircraft have stock textures/colors. As an apology for taking this long, i think it's only fair i give you something nice and big to have fun with. And what better subject than a crazy battleship with an equally crazy history. The mighty H.M.S Agincourt, a large 200m long WWI battleship armed with 14-12inch guns in 7 turrets. A ship that swapped owners 2 times and a ship that may have been the reason the Ottoman Empire sided with the Germans in WWI, but more on that in the proper post. The K.S.S Agincourt is about 210m long and sports 15 abrams turrets as it's main battery. This all comes at a price tough, the ship has over 900 parts as a result of this (200 more than usual). It now makes this the second largest non-twekscaled ship in the KNS fleet. Im not making any promises, but i will try my hardest to get the British side of the WWII fleet released somewhere around christmas/new-years. It is very likely i will be swamped with work till my holiday arrives, and then ill be with family and spending all my free time on the many many modelkits i have laying around waiting to be built. -
It was late 2013, Youtube was recommending me a series called "THAT'S NO MOON! Base" by HOC gaming, and i decided to have a little peek as it looked very interesting, with bases and spaceships and even a truck mounted Kerbal cannon. After that i decided to by the game as it looked really fun, and after 7 years and over 7500 hours (not even kidding) of game-play later according to Steam, i can say it was the best decision i ever made...well...as far as video-games are concerned at-least. Below is a post i made a while back, witch will give you a little look into some of my early creation (before i even had 100 hours clocked).

It's been months since i got anything relating to this project done, but during this summer i really got things going, and have a ton of new stuff now. While in the past i was concentrating solely on stuff relating to this specific diorama i have now broadened my spectrum quite a bit and have aguired a bunch off stuff that i can use in this and other dioramas as-well. Since my plan has always been to make sure none of the miniatures are getting glued to the diorama base, why not broaden the selection models to give myself the opportunity to create a multitude of dioramas with this set of models. Plus, i just really really like building models of this stuff anyways , so even if it doesn't end up in a diorama, it doesn't matter. Don't know if i told it yet, but the main reason i went with choice of not gluing stuff to the base, is so i can store the models on a shelf or a box, and have the literal table sized base be stored up against a wall. Plus, i cant lie, i still like to play around with my models from time to time. One of the things i liked to do the most as a kid, was have a bunch of these 1/72 scale models around my computer desk, so every-time i had to wait for something to load or install, i could stage little tabletop battles with these soldiers and tanks. Now my desk is so stuffed up with other junk, i cant really do that anymore. Anyways, here's all the new stuff. Couple of nice Italeri Battlesets full of lovely goodies . And to go with those, a couple proper captured KV's. And here's all the new model i got built during this summer. A Panther Ausf-A, Tiger II Ausf-B, Sturer Emil, T34-85, a couple B1-Bis and FT-17 tanks and a couple more PAK-40 AT-guns. The Panther, Tiger and T34 models are to receive special decals and commanders, that's why there blank at the moment. The special decals/commanders will be from a series ive come to like very much. More on that later. The PAK-40 guns i got more for the sake of getting more gun-crews, as i felt i was a bit lacking in that area. The B1-Bis and FT-17 tanks where built more cause there some of my all time favorite tanks, and also because i felt they could make for some really interesting pieces for a future diorama (the grey FT-17 was apparently used by the Luftwaffe, so could fit in an airfield diorama...for example). The T34 is something i acquired a long time ago, but never got around to building. I might paint the Russian tanks from the Malinava set in the same special camo, but that remains to be seen. I had an idea to take the T34 from the Malinava set and build it in a more destroyed kind of state (track broken, couple shell holes, hatches open), but since it's one of those simple fast build models, that's not really going to work. Oh, i also have a few tanks i 3D-printed witch ill likely be showing here as-well, one of them being...ehm...rather large and armed with naval guns. Ahh, just so many lovely models .

Interesting, every-time ive tried to use an image whose canvas isn't in the 2:1 ratio, the game has stretched it to that. I think we could give that a go and see what the end result is. Thanks . Update for everyone: just finished editing the national markings side of the decal pack (over 90 decals), just need to rename them and ill be ready to put them in-game and then release them. I'll probably work on the tank-numbers next.
