I'm looking for a mod that will allow me to plan launch windows. I believe Mechjeb used to allow a pork hop plot from the launch pad, but this doesn't seem to be an option anymore? I've seen other mods that will do it from orbit as well... But are there any mods that will do it from the launch pad? There's no reason a lunar insertion maneuver should take 35 days...

[WIP][1.0.5]* RSS Visual Enhancements (RVE)
spbrhs07 replied to pingopete's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
have RO, RSS, EVE, and AVP installed along with a huge variety of part mods. I'm running KSP on Ubuntu 14.04 x64. 4ghz processor and 16gb RAM. There's this blue thing that I believe to be a visual for the atmosphere. I think it's supposed to be connected to the earth, but i see this annoying gap... I think it's an issue with RVE. does anyone have a suggestion on how to fix this? Thanks! -
Not sure of the exact resolution, but lower, yes

oh no, i'd love to spend $19k on a stupid fast computer when i could spend it on a new car...... ha, i'm working on a much cheaper system for KSP in the $800-$1000 range - - - Updated - - - On a more realistic note... So, I've played around with it and it seems that the thrust issue was coming from Real Fuels. I updated to the latest version and my thrust is fantastic! Still no visuals though... Super powerful engine with a invisible flame. I installed each mod one by one and tested it. The flame disappeared after installing realism overhaul. Any suggestions?

Getting closer! got RO installed and F1 still shows 1800 in the part menu, after attached I can right click to change from F1 to F1A, when doing this MechJeb magically changes the thrust 9190 for F1A, click again to go back to F1 and it says 7741. Minor bug but hey it works. ... until I attempt to launch. The sound fx are fantastic but no flame under the engine? Also, during launch, per MechJeb, the thrust reverts back to the original stock settings....

Is RO a separate mod of its own? I've read the RO thread multiple times and there's no mention of it... however when I installed via CKAN, I remember seeing an RO item that then downloaded all of the required mods. Looking in my Game Data folder, i do not see an RO mod.

I am running KSP .90 with RO and RSS. I'm trying to build a full scale Saturn V. I was pretty disappointed when I found that TweakScale wouldn't modify FASA parts. Then I learned how to edit part cfg files. I've been able to change the size of the F-1 Engine, but can't seem to change the thrust. FASA has the thrust at 1800 kN, I need it at 6770 kN. When I open the cfg file, it has some stupid number for maxThrust that doesn't even match what's in the game. I change it to 6770 and still get 1800 kN in game. Frustrating since it takes 10 minutes for my KSP to load... HELP?!

Been playing KSP on mac for a while, I like the idea of 64bit and more RAM access so I installed dual boot Ubuntu 14.04. I'm aware of some of the issues associated with Linux, but this is not one I've been able to find anywhere...

RVE is no longer available for download... Any other suggestions?
