  1. Whizzkid, nice avatar. I've been staring at it for about five minutes now... So hypnotic.
  2. My first thought: This man must play KSP! But really, motor failures can/do occur. If you really want to do an analysis, look to see if there were any parts that might have fallen in to place to cause a blockage after the motor slid up. Alternately, are you sure it could have slid up? A motor defect may have allowed pressure to vent up in to the rocket middle.
  3. +1 (+) ... This thread is oscillating more rapidly than my last SSTO!
  4. Let's change that to "under our current political climate, I don't think it's faring well". More diplomatic that way. So for us non-Aussies, is there even an active Australian space program? Please do tell as it really would be interesting to know what you guys are up to. Edit: Ninja'd with another better phrasing. Edit 2: Spelling fixed.
  5. I just tested by changing whole-page zoom. It looks like you're fine for higher res monitors, but anything 720p or narrower (which means many laptop monitors) might have issues. This is with fully updated Firefox. You might try a couple of browsers at 768x1366 to see as this is common on many laptops. TUBM will disregard this post and answer respond to the previous post because I never answered it...
  6. Really weird users eventually renounce their abnormality. akeocs
  7. Hey, as long as there's no hangover I'm cool with it. -------- Granted, but they disable it before a signal is ever sent. We assume probe failure, never the wiser... And every Saturday afternoon they get to enjoy watching our cartoons from earlier that morning. I wish we could get to secretly monitor alien communications without being noticed.
  8. Way up on high Olympia, it's the AlphaZeus!
  9. Seems legit. Btw, your line of planes shows up but your twitch thing is cut in half and anything that may be below it is not visible. You might want to fix that. TUBM is using a monitor with a 3:4 or 4:5 aspect ratio.
  10. A scholarly debate will attract a few dozen to a few hundred students. A circus will attract gawkers by the thousands. If your paycheck depended on how many people saw your work, which venue would yours most resemble?
  11. Granted. But they're fabric scissors, so you can't just use them for anything. (Had this drilled in to me repeatedly by my mom as a kid. Turns out proper fabric scissors are expensive and get ruined by things like paper.) I wish I could immediately turn sober with no hangover at will after drinking.
  12. Why so negative, Sighs? Edit: Ninja'd by TurnGamingto11...
  13. Absolutely. Love is a fickle thing indeed. TUBM prefers to pour their beer in to a glass rather than drink it from the original container. (Substitute soda if you're not a drinker.)
  14. Cirocco, I wish I could give you rep in forum games. That was bloody brilliant. ------ Passing it on to the next poster. I don't think I can match the quality of answer on his wish.
  15. I like the dog avatar. Is that pup yours?
  16. Thanks. As it so happens, I met a gal six years ago and have been married for over five years.
  17. Granted. They took their rapid post-release patches too and now the Earth's physics keep changing. I wish more products would use natural flavors and no additives.
  18. True. I think I still have character sheets older than some forum members... Btw, if you like pen & paper try Morrowind. It's not at all like Oblivion or Skyrim. TUBM thinks SLS is too expensive for what it does. Edit: Ninja'd, but only changing one word makes my reply still work (False becomes True)...
  19. I made a couple tiny mods to Oblivion for personal use (stock arrows flew like they were made of cardboard, wanted them faster). Not KSP though -- not yet, anyways. TUBM has never played Morrowind.
