  1. If this hasn't been recompiled since it needs to be - the DLL will not work against the older versions (Apparently 1.7? changed some things)
  2. Im not familiar with all the licensing terms, does CC-SA let people fork? If so, maybe someone with skills (I dont have those) can fork and run with it?
  3. The thing is, this should not be necessary - almost all updates are posted to the first page via edits in many other addons. Thats why so many come in here asking. If you read the last page or 2, its all about models, but nothing clear cut to indicate that this is an official update thats in the works. Simply putting the status on the first page would stop a lot of these posts - and tat post is already 3 days back, which means the referenced posts are even farther back than that now - and what about 3 days from now when they are a dozen or so pages back? Reading a few pages isnt the right answer. Unless you repost the info every 3-4 pages, which is a waste. So maybe try again with that answer and reduce the snottiness a bit - a lot of newbies are here from 1.0 and Steam, and it might be more productive (and nicer) to refer them to the first page, as well as requesting the author to simply reference his latest posts in an edit of the first page - [;us it would prevent interruption to the thread with such things.
  4. Went to github, not exactly sure what all to do there. But I did see a SCANmechjeb entry, followed it and saw this: Now that MechJeb is updated, perhaps this needs to be Version=2.5.1.0
  5. OK, thanks. I wonder why? Maybe its mismarked and should be a WRN (warning - still works but might be improper) instead of ERR (doesnt work and may cause errors in other place that depend on it).

  7. Is this an issue with SCANsat or is it MechJeb or is it Waypoint? Just trying to direct this load error to the right person.
  8. Is there an issue when you have the new mechJeb installed with SCAN - and then install Waypoint manager? Waypoint manager seems to want RemoteTech. Or is the error in the SCANmechjeb area? Sorry, im kinda new to KSP (just started playing 2 weeks ago)
  9. Im using the LITE version (try before I buy), and the default KSP that comes with it. Nothing seems to work other than it sending keystrokes. I can do that myself with a dozen other apps. The keys are sending, but I am not getting any data for this displays. Is there a plugin missing that needs to be installed on the KSP side? I even tried a bit of editing to see what would happen. Nada. I want the data - and the spiffy display you show on the front page, nicely coloured, rather than the rather disorganized and grey default skin. I've been looking for a repository or place to DL such a thing, and cannot find that either. You'd make a bit more coin if you could solve those issues. I'll monitor thread for feedback, but I'm uninstalling this as basically "useless until fixed." However, once it is fixed and working with data and a decent interface, I will likely buy the paid version in the AppStore for my iPad). I was really hoping this would work.
  10. Its rather difficult for someone new to this to get a handle on it - but the bottom line is that the "old style" fairings in KW are broken as of 1.02? I am having a lot of difficulty mating *any* KW parts with a fresh install of KSP and this addon. - they jsut dont ever seem to click together. I tried googling, but all I find are tutorials for older versions, and the wiki is too sparse and dated. Is there a better source for how to use these parts? Im especially interested in the 5m stuff, yet the 5m launch assemblies dont even show up in the list despite the .craft files being there in the subassemblies folder in my save. TL;DR - is this borken, and should I just dump it and wait for an update?

I wish they would fix this - I am new to the game and just spent the past couple hours trying to figure out why I was unable to recover these ad anything other than debris despite controls, fins, radial parachute, drogue chutes, etc. (Sorry to necro a thread but this is still an issue 1.02, and with newbs like me arriving with the announcement of 1.0, its worth a refresh)
  12. I tried this with 1.0, it was simply uncontrollable. Is there a secret to controlling sich a huge rocket? Basically it starts tilting over at about 4000m and/or 22m/s and nothing I do corrects it. I tried putting fins on it. I dont yet have the stabilizers researched in career mode. Tier 1 limits to the pad 30 parts 18 tonne, etc. 200 tank and the -30 and -45 enginers are all I have, with the -18 decoupler, mk1 cap and chute. I can get to a 700km apo, but I run out of fuel trying to get orbital wiht a 3 stage design, and 2 or 1 stage seem to be uncontrollable at points.
