  1. "roasting Jeb". Now thats a thought... We dont have to deal with 'radiation' currently do we?. Oh, unless.. No, Im sure there is radiation but Kerbals probably dont suffer from radiation sickness as we do.
  2. Okay. Injected Kerbal Engineer. Fantastic. Thanks for the tip. Managed to get into orbit in one attempt. Upto now its been hit or miss... almost literally. lol.
  3. Brutal Percy, nice. I know the pain of the Science grind. Funds I have.. Science is a bit of a hold up. But Im getting there slowly (just Electrickery left on Tier 4). Today I managed my first Stable orbit! Hoorah. I also managed to get my Kerbal back down again, Alive!. Hoorah!! Also had Bill test some Jet Glider designs... I think Bill needs some time off for stress reasons now...
  4. Gene pool?. All the Kerbals look the same as it is. I think their Gene pool is already pretty shallow. lol. But that does raise some interesting questions.. and who knows. If KSP keeps going and we support it and help it grow... Maybe one day, in the future, they will introduce the Kerbal equiv of a Stork?.
  5. I had a quick search but couldn't find anything incredibly relevant. I did find some good 3 word stories though... ? Are there any plans to introduce a form of "Hunger" and "asphyxiation" into the game? Preferably as a Toggle Option in difficulty.... Id say "Food" and "Oxygen" but who the hell knows what a Kerbal eats, or breaths!? I just feel that as my abilities in the game increase Id like to start another Career Mode Game and make it more.... er... well.. More!. You know?. Oh, and as a gauge of my expertise and knowledge in the game Im coming upto my 6 day mark.... So Yea... I R Noob.
  6. Iv really gotta start working on this stuff properly. Right now I pick a Pod, attach a rocket, instruct Val to update his Will and off we go..... Where does one find that Delta V Stats window at?.
  7. Hes on a furlough while Alicia Kerman (I renamed) gets some experience and learns that screaming in terror is not the solution. As soon as the first Mun shot is ready, Jeb is taking it....
  8. The science can be a bit of a Grind, but "hard".. No not so much.
  9. Hoo rah! Good job, and well done. I totally restarted my career last night. Not a big loss because I was only 3 tiers up the Tech tree. lol. But, Tonight will be my initial (stable) Orbit. With any luck I can rack up the science I need to unlock the bits for a Mun orbit and Landing in the next 2 or 3 launches.
  10. Well thats Fantastic. Works perfectly under W7. Not that I have many mods loaded. Just Chatterer : ColiisionFX : EVE : PlanetShine : TextureReplacer I have a few of the HD textures loaded from various sources. So far its been running smoothly. Even did a climb, orbit, and landing with no issues. Totally worth the 15 minutes it took to DL Unity just to get those two files.

  12. I feel like I started this at the right time. At "release" instead of in the beta phase. lol. I don't think I quite understand the arguments fully though. Some people seem upset that the new edits are not "realistic" enough?. Is this supposed to be a sim?. Because its not set around Earth in a known solar system. Okay so I understand a lot of people put a fair few hours into the game too... But that was during Early release, and one always has to remember that Early release are often subject to change, often quite dramatic. (I dropped over 90 hours into Rift pre-release only to have a lot of my efforts killed by a patch and update). I love the idea of the game version, but theres a part of me that likes the notion of a pure-sim too. But right now I can see a game that's still developing and I think it would be unfair to tie its hands to "real world" so early on. Id love to see the Kerbal Solar system develop and grow. Im loving the game, and once I get some serious time into it Ill probably setup a second career mode and set it to more known-world variables to Simulate our own system.
  13. I shall have to try this hack as a stopgap until they release us a shiny x64 bit version of KSP which probably is not far off. Im sure its more licensing than "code work" lol.

  15. Is this a thing? Or did I just totally miss this.... I am a noob so forgive me if I did. As far as Im aware we can dump probs and robots onto planets and moons. But is there provision for exploring bodies of water?. Water types, temps, Depth and so on... Just curious.
  16. Yea, it took me a minute to see the changes.. Not that I experienced the changes. But I was viewing a tutorial and the submitter stated that "aero dynamics" wasn't a thing. So a few minor tests with nose cones and no-nose cones and I came to realize it was indeed a thing.. now.. And its great. I really love the fact that the Devs are keeping this a "Game" first but also giving us the flexibility to change it into what "we" desire as far as tweaking the physics. . Keep up the amazing work!!
  17. Id been following this on Steam for a while. When it went into 1.0 I had to buy it. Initially, I wasn't sure. The learning curve is a little overly inclined but the cute factor really helps with it. Im not going to publicly admit how many hours Iv played in 4 days... but this could seriously damage my Keurig. Some sounds of the Kerbals talking (and screaming in terror lol) would be great. Thus far I have found a few mods that help with the GFX, and performed an unstable and widely eccentric orbit. (next up is a total redesign of the rocket to allow enough fuel for a stable orbit) To the Devs... DONT STOP! MORE! MORE I SAY! There is so much potential in this game it is mind blowing. How can I support the continued development of this fantastic game? I mean, Iv already purchased it, what else can I do? How can I help? Now if you excuse me, I have to sit at my desk at work and count the minutes until I can play KSP again.....
