  1. Hi, I made a sequence with this addon, but even though it is set to loop and even does so perfectly in the SPH, when I launch en start the sequence it just plays and stops at the end. If I want to start it again I have to pause it and start it again. I don't know if this is a bug or just me being stupid, but I thought I'd just post it here. (btw I'm using the pre-release version to test out the sequences in the SPH)
  2. Hello my fellow kerbonauts! Today I've invented something amazing! I call it "THE JETPACK". Okay so now that we've got that intro out of the way here is the challenge: Rules: - Mods: You have to use the tweakscale mod to participate in this challenge Other mods are allowed as long as they don't involve anti-gravity or (unrealistically) extra amounts of fuel (I'm using the Quiz tech aerodynamics pack for the rcs thrusters) - Other: - No cheating(obviously) - Your jetpack has to contain an EAS-1 External Command Seat. - A kerbal is required to sit in your Command Seat. - The jetpack must be able to take off and land again. - The starting capsule that you build the jetpack on top of must be an Mk1 Lander Can with an upside down Rockomax Brand Decoupler on top. Like this: (If you want to launch just EVA your kerbal, let it board the command seat, decouple and take off!)Points system: - Size(height) To calculate the size of your jetpack: craftheight - 1.7 0.5- = 4 points 0.5 - 0.8 = 3 points 0.81 - 1.2 = 2 points 1.21+ = 1 point - landing Your jetpack must be able to land precisely Landing on the VAB roof = 1 point Landing on the SPH control tower = 2 points Landing without any landing gear and taken damage earns you an extra point! - speed To calculate your speed points you have to take your topspeed (round it as an integer!), devide it by 5 and add 3. So if your topspeed is 50 then you have 50/5+3 = 13 points. - engines If you have multiple engines you have to take you total points and devide them by the amount of engines you have. So if you have 1 jet engine and 1 rocket engine, you have 12 total points, devided by the number of engines(2). So 6 points. Jet engine = 8 points per engine R.A.P.I.E.R. engine (hybrid engines) = 6 points per engine Rocket engine = 4 points per engine - control To calculate your control points you have to devide 8 by the number of rcs ports you have, if you have linear rcs ports you can multiply this by 4. Recap: So to recap, if you want to participate you have to submit the following screenshots (red = optional): - A screenshot of your jetpack with the engineers report opened (The following five screenshots have to be taken in the same flight) - A screenshot of your jetpack at the starting point - A screenshot of your kerbal flying over the KSC (probably screaming in terror) - A screenshot of your jetpack landed on the VAB roof - A screenshot of your jetpack landed on the SPH control tower - A screenshot of your jetpack next to the startingpoint (no landing requiered ) - A screenshot of your jetpack achieving its speed record (can be done in another flight) - A screenshot with a clear view on the amount and type of engines/rcs-ports.(can be done in multiple screenshots) - A craft file so other people can play with your abomination! My Submission: As you can see I've earned the following points: Size(0.8) = 3 points Landing(VAB&SPH) = 3 points Speed(20/5+3) = 7 points Engines(16/2) = 8 points Control(8/8*4) = 4 points So in total I've earned 25 points Scoreboard: 1. Noahkra(OP) - 25 points - *craftfile comming soon* 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. Good luck everyone!
  3. My ten step guide to completing this challenge: 1: Spent 10 minutes building a retarded looking plane 2: Spent another 5 minutes tweaking it because it was too heavy for takeoff 3: realize your recording software doesn't work without flashplayer 4: download and install flashplayer 5: setup recording software 6: record your plane 10 times before it finally takes off properly 7: spent 45 minutes flying your plane to the target, bombing it and going back 8: be proud of yourself 9: check the recording and realize all it recorded was a black screen 10: ragequit Maybe another time again...
