  1. The astronomers pack uses a lot of memory, you are prob hitting the limit. Adding OpenGL or DX11 switch to the shortcut and installing active texture management and temp gauge killer should help. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...y-using-OpenGL http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...y-reduction%21 http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...ement-Save-RAM! http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/120731 If that doesn't help try removing the astronomers packs.

Or we get 64bit support
  3. Yeah it only has surface attachment (that I've seen). When placing the chute it is snapping to the surface like stock parts do, but soon as you press to attach it moves inside. I'm guessing realchutes doesn't work with KAS, but I noticed when searching that the mod creator said he would be looking at adding KAS a long time ago.
  4. Hi, So I had arrived at Duna and forgot the chutes on my lander, fortunately I had some spares but not the stock ones only Real Radial. Not sure if this is an issue with KAS or RealChutes, but when attaching the Real Radial Chute it just disappears. It shows in the staging window so assume its attached somehow. I attempted to land however soon as they deployed most things on the screen disappeared and Kerbal Engineer reported NAN for most figures. I went back to KSC and tested on the pad and its the same issue, the Chute disappears inside the lander can I used. Any Ideas?
  5. Don't defrag if you have Kerbal on an SSD. My game was taking 15 mins to start. However if I disable the net just as its loading it starts in a few seconds. No idea why but it works for me
  6. Yeah also get this now and then. No idea what causes it.
  7. They should be in the GameData folder, not the root of Kerbal.
  8. Burn Ubuntu to dvd and boot up from that drive, it will (most of the time) give you an option to install alongside windows. It will partition a drive if needed (make sure you have data backed up!) or select another fresh drive. Guide here https://sites.google.com/site/easylinuxtipsproject/installation As its a different OS it uses different drivers and software etc. Double check your hardware has Linux drivers. You can however run some Windows software with Wine https://apps.ubuntu.com/cat/applications/precise/wine1.4/ not everything works but its pretty good.
  9. You need to realign the command module in the VAB, the direction on the pad comes from that. Pickup the command and press space then re-attach it to the rest of the rocket.
  10. You could try doing a spacewalk using KAS to remove the dodgy port and re-add them. Also you did use the same size ports right?
  11. Double checked and the regular settings are all ok.
  12. Ah well, thanks anyway. Least I wasn't missing something. Tempted to dual boot ubuntu.
  13. Yeah I'd tried that, the profile is not selected but its still got the reverse on full when driving. Can't see anything else to disable it aside from that, am I missing something?
  14. Loving this mod, great to be able to use my stick for flying with FAR However the rover issue is a bit of a pain, I've had a look around but not been able to see a solution. Any suggestions? or do I need to remove the mod whenever I want to use the rovers? Thanks
  15. Click start and type dxdiag, run that and click save info at the bottom.
  16. Not had chance to test it yet, but assume you can just delete the entry again after you do any new scans. All the info from previous scans is still there after deleting it. So its a little hassle but you can at least work around until squad fix it.
  17. Also been getting this issue, appears deleting the Planet Scan entries from the persistent file has fixed it.
  18. Got my first SSTO build attempt in orbit and back down in one piece (100k short of the runway though)
  19. Just FYI that does not fix the issue. I know its not your problem with your mod, but kind of pointless linking to something that doesn't work
  20. Thanks for the replies, I have removed all the mods and before starting to add them back on I tested it. It is still bugged but slightly differently, I can now click the parts on the left (all are in one big list and selecting the tabs doesn't change that) but they just appear in the VAB and are not movable, and still can't click on any parts on the ships I've already made. Guess whatever mod caused this as broke the saves -.-
  21. Two different sound cards then, the monitor probably gets it from HDMI and the phono on the PC will be the Soundcard/MB. So yeah its normal.
  22. Most games are like that. They will only detect the current sound device when it starts up. Some games will allow you to select device which in game, but normally only games which have voice chat. That's assuming it is a different device and you're not just unplugging your speakers for the headphones?
  23. I have reinstalled the game and most of the mods and its still the same issue. I did leave out the station sci mod as I've noticed a few people mentioning that mod with this issue. However no solutions I can see. Help
