Thanks, I also found that I shouldn't launch rockets at night or deploy solar panels on the dark side. launching in day light and deploy the panels in daylight seems to work fine, at least until I unlock the retractable once.- 7,372 replies

Just installed GPP151 and discovered a problem with my tracking solar panels. I did a search and found many posts, that this is a Kopernicus problem. I do have v1.3.0-6 installed as instructed. My panels don't track the sun, they seem to track in the opposite direction. Is there anything I can do to fix this? I don't have any other planet mod installed, only GPP- 7,372 replies

a new install of 1.30. ran it once and copied GPP and LSM only. No other mods. Still the same issue. here is the part in my log: why does it say v1.01? in the version file it says 1.20- 7,372 replies

Yes, I did put it in the top level inside GameData, like all the mods. Yes, a huge crap load LOL. I guess I'll have to start to isolate the bad apple in my basket. I just thought someone else would have had the same problem and figured it out. Thanks for the tip.- 7,372 replies

First of all, THANK YOU for this great mod. this has rejuvenated my interest in Kerbal again. I seem to have one issue. at the loading screen, it shows all the Galileo screens, but the "witty loading tips" are all displayed at once, across the screen from top to bottom. I have installed the LSM that came in the optional mods folder. what could be the issue? Thanks- 7,372 replies

One other question, maybe it's a tiny little bug. On Kerbal, when you reach space at 70km, the music changes. The same happens on Earth at 70km. Shouldn't that happen at 130km?

This is happening to me too, but only when I install/add a mod. The first time I start the game, it shows the kerbal planet. I exit and restart. The next time it's earth. After adding/updating any mod, same procedure.

I'm in the same boat. I'm testing my install of RSS, FAR and some additional mods. So far I like it a lot and seem to have no issues. I'm getting ready to start a career mode and would also like a good tech tree and missions suited for RSS. -
This is false information, Steam will always update your games, no matter what you do. You can set it to only update on launch, but it still updates. Only way to make sure to have a "save copy" is to do what Pronoes said (I have 4 or 5 instances in various configurations).

I'm in the same boat, can't figure a way to de-orbit and stay alive. There are quite a few of us in the RSS thread, who seem not to be able to come back alive. I hope someone will find a solution soon. -
I have the same problem. I'm not able to get anything returned from space. Heat shields are worthless, even a very shallow airbrake at 100km burns out the heat shield. I don't want to trim down the entire heat effect, does someone know how to make the head shield stronger?

If all else fails, you can use a tool like "recuva" this has saved my butt plenty of times. -
Hello, first let me thank you for this helpful mod. I seem to have a bug. whenever I equip a kerbal with items in the inventory and I pass through or EVA out off a KerbCan (PPD-2), all items are gone missing. Found out the hard way, after arriving on the moon to repair a rover, bringing an engineer with everything needed for the repair. This can be tested on the launch pad.
