You can switch to the the "locked" camera mode with the V key, and put the camera behind your vessel with the usual right-click-drag. You'll get something probably very close to what you need. -

@Gillermoo, every mod or tool posted on this forum must have a license, and the source code must be available. Could you please add a license and the source code? Since your tool seems to require MATLAB, you can take a look at the following tool for an example: -

This shouldn't happen. Can you share more details? Smart autostruts are enabled by default now, if you want to see the options you have to install the debug dll (rename DockRotate.debugdll to DockRotate.dll). When smart autostruts are enabled, only the autostruts that would prevent rotation are removed. If they weren't removed, the ship would break. Which fork of KJR are you using? KJRNext is always compatible, other forks may need the xml configuration in @Geonovast post.
