  1. How is KerbalEDU going to handle the 1.1 update? I'd LOVE to help Teachergaming again with the Earth History Campaign modules! My wife and I recently hosted a very successful “Astronomy Night” at her middle school – hundreds were in attendance. For the event, I set up several library computers with hands-on astronomy software, including: NASA’s Eyes on the Solar System, Universe Sandbox, Celestia, Worldwide Telescope, Stellarium, and Google Earth. I also had the Kerbal Space Program Demo running on 3 laptops – it was a huge hit! I’m now in discussions with the school’s PTO about upgrading some PCs to run KSP, and starting an “After-School Space Academy.”

  5. I'm not using the CommunityTech Tree, or any other tech tree mod. I'm only 3 tiers into the tech tree on this new game. If the code is "choosing randomly from a set of test subjects," I think I've found a bug when there is only a couple subjects to test. I suggest: "If mission X has been been completed twice in the last day of in-game time, don't offer mission X."
  6. In a small rocket with a command module and Jeb, when I tried to activate SAS, I was told there was "No active SAA module or pilot.
  7. After installing 1.0.5, and starting a new Hard-mode career game, I have been offered and completed the "Test J-20 Juno Basic jet Engine" mission 5 times in a row, and it's being offered again...
  8. In HARD mode, you cannot complete the mission "Launch our first vessel" using the Mercury Redstone A-6 engine. The mission completes OK with this engine in Normal and Medium mode. I'm currently looking into if this is the reason I cannot complete tourist sub-orbital and orbital missions, and "Return from orbit of the Mun" in hard mode too; I've sent an unmanned, and a manned mission to orbit the Mun, and returned without the mission completing- both launched with Gemini Titan LR-87 engines.
  9. I have a mission to build a base on Minmus, that is on wheels. When I test my base using K&K Combined Landing Gear, the "on wheels" requirement of the mission is not fulfilled.
  10. Holy mackerel, this mod is almost like cheating! I tested landing a modular base component on Minmus, and it worked GREAT! The base consisted of this: [Docking port][Thruster w/2 landing gear][Lab][MAL][Fuel tank][Habitat][Thruster w/2 landing gear][Docking port] MechJeb, Landing Control, solar panel, and batteries on top. Don't forget to fill the liquid propellant and oxidizer in the thruster and fuel tank segments. From a 12 Km orbit, this thing landed by itself, with fuel to spare.
  11. I'd like to purchase 4 licenses of KSP to setup a Kerbal-LAB at a convention (ConClave Inc.) and other locations in the future... can I do that via Steam? Can I work out a licensing deal? Can I get Squad's OK to install MY copy 4 times (for a day) at this convention?

  13. I'd like to see a MOD that overlays the crew specialization on their picture in flight mode, rather than having to flip to another screen.
  14. My Career mode game crashed on me, when I opened it back up, the Tech Tree is empty - there is nothing showing. The Tech tree shows OK in my Science mode game.
