  2. Hey Baha, How does guard mode know how to open the bays? I'm trying to use Scoundrels Red vs Blue mod that comes with the mk2 weapons bays but the guard won't open them. It will close them if you force them open though, oddly enough. I swear it worked when the first version of BDA came with the ability for the guard to do that but with the last 2 versions it hasn't worked. *Edit* I actually went back and tried it again, now it's not working at all with any version. I'm just going to try a fresh install and see if it's just my game that's screwed up. When it was working, it was kind of sporadic.
  3. Ah, that makes more sense. I'll give that a try tonight. Yep, i'm just trying to mimic the "control surface" deploy module. As far as I can tell, they just rotate around an axis when you toggle them. Thanks for the advice, I'll try that too and see if it works better for me.
  4. I appreciate any help I can get right now haha. So you mean, calling transform.localRotation = open; ? I just tried that and unfortunately it did the same thing. It's driving me nuts that I had this kind of working earlier, changed something to reverse the buttons because they were backwards somehow, and broke everything. Not crazy proof:
  5. On another note, does anyone know how to call IR rotation from inside of a different plugin? We're just trying to replicate the pushing of the button to make the actions move.

I have an earlier video where everything was kind of working but in reverse, and I can't get it to go back to even that now. Any help you guys could give would be great.

  8. I'm working on a weapons bay for BD armory, and I want to set it up so the bay opens when the radar is locked. I have the radar lock portion working, but I can't figure out how to make the control surface that we repurposed move to it's "deployed" down position. Does anyone know what the code looks like for control surfaces?
  9. I had that problem too. To get it to work, I had to make sure it was the first Module listed in the file for some reason. Then it worked like a champ.
  10. Oooo I didn't even think of that. I'm usually firing them from planes, so I just ripple them off and stay back to the edge of the physics range of the missiles and follow them in for clean up.
  11. Yep! As long as your in physics range when the missiles hit. You can see a couple of pages back where I was using a u2ish plane to scout. I sent a strike plane in after I marked the targets
  12. You're the best. I have a question, is the targeting pod using the laser to set the GPS coordinates? If so, what's the range of the laser? I ask because I was using distant object enhancement to set targets with a spy plane, but the GPS coordinates ended up being 300 meters out in the middle of the air. Here's a picture of what I'm talking about. I assume that's what that no LR means on the window. ~ - - - Updated - - - Yeah man! I put them on your F-15 too, but that F16 is a brutal dogfighter and just wrecks house. I see the AI use the cannon all the time, and even get kills. It generally switches to it under 700 meters in my experience.
  13. So the guard mode works great now, the only thing I've noticed is instead of the missiles firing from opposite wings like they used to, they fire from the same side. I put them on with symmetry in case that was it, but it does it for all missiles. Here's a pic: (Clown baby your jets are awesome, btw.   15. Awesome update Bahamuto! The cruise missiles are showing up on radar now, but the guards are still not locking on or firing on them when they're incoming. Is there something I'm missing?
  16. Thanks for being so quick! I have a question in regards to cruise missile targeting. Is there ever going to be ground scanning radar? It would be awesome if we could fire the cruise missiles from range in the direction of a target and have them lock on once they got closer. The GPS works awesome, but it's not great for extra long range anti-ship or ground target attacks.
  17. Did the PAC-3 get it's turning rate reduced? I noticed that it can't turn to save it's life now, and it's set to steerMult = 1, where as the old update had it at 20.
  18. First of all, this mod is so awesome. I have a question though, and i'm sure i'm doing something wrong. When I put sam sites into guard mode, none of the missiles (AIM-120, PAC-3, AIM-9) will fire at incoming cruise missiles. Is there a setting I need to enable? The goalkeeper will fire at them with no issues. I've tried having the cruise missiles come in at 1500m to see if it was just under their engagement height or something. I can fire the missiles at them manually and they'll track and try to engage.
