I can crash KSP within 2 minutes by just moving around the UI (in and out of various buildings) or during a flight. I have been having this issue since 1.0 but assumed it would be fixed quickly, but not so. I can however avoid the issue if I turn the texture size down to the very smallest setting, but this is not a desirable way to play the game.
