The delta V of a rocket is a measurement of how much acceleration it can produce (Someone correct me if I'm wrong). Basically the mileage on a car.
This is a delta V map. To find how much delta v you need, add up all the numbers from Kerbin to your destination.
For example if you're going for a Minmus landing then return, you would need 3400 + 930 + 160 + 180 + 180 + 160 + 930 = 5940 m/s of delta V.
Note that you can save a lot of fuel by aerobraking.
In the KER window under delta V, the first number is how much delta V that stage has and the second number is the total delta V of the rocket up to that stage.
How did i reach minimus and back with 4334 delta v when i needed 5940?

Im new to ksp, downloaded it people said it would give me a good reading on if i would have enough "delta v" or if my ship is too big etc, where do i find all this info? Sorry if its a stupid question but i really dont know

The ascending/descending nodes tags show the difference in inclination between your orbit and the target orbit. Here you have "ascending node: 180°" this means that your orbit is inclined 180° relative to the target orbit. In other words, you are orbiting in the wrong direction.
In the map view, you should be able to see shadings on the target orbit line moving around: these show the direction of the target orbit, pay attention to these when launching to avoid this common mistake.
So i need to restart?

Heres some pictures it seems almost perfect but its not giving me the credit for it, how do i make it work?

I cant seem to reenter without everything exploding, i face retrograde with a standard heasheidl but it does not help.
Here is my situation and im really low on fuel. What can i do?

Agree with @EpicSpaceTroll139. Also, when you reload, you can right-click the probe and turn on hibernation mode. This way it won't be using power on the way to the Mun. You'll just have to turn hibernation off when you're ready to control it again.
Thank you two for helping

Could you post a screenshot? It could be that your probe has rotated into some odd position that puts the panels in the shadow of what I'm guessing is a fairing base. Or it could be a bug. Hard to tell without a screenshot.
This is from my earlier quicksave, when it was working, once i warped close to the mun it gave me the other error
-
Finally got to the mun just to realize i had no power left because my panels are somehow "blocked by aero shielding" what does this mean? The panels worked before i got to the mun, it said status "direct sunlight" but once i got further it gave me that error

I really dont know, came back to ksp, auto updated all my mods, went in game but some of the textures are really buggy and my game crashes alot. Can someone tell me which of the following mods to delete because i have no idea how to check which one is causing the problems
I basically had all the mods from here
Which one should i delete from this list?

Ok, six hours behind me. I will add you dude and if I'm on when you are (maybe not likely) I am happy to help with anything KSP. I remember those first days.. I could have so easily given up had I not been playing for the first time at the same time as a friend. All will become clear.

In this picture, the maneuver node that you are looking at is the node that took you out of Kerbin orbit, something like four hours ago.
When you finish a maneuver, you want to click on the button to the right of the metres/second indicator (in that screenshot it's a red X). This deletes the old maneuver, so you can plot a new one.
