  1. Building my lifting stages with asparagus style staging. In KSP1 you could easily pull any number of radial symmetry built parts in staging and move them to another stage, like selecting two out of four decouplers to move to another stage. I can't get KSP2 to do that, it only moves the entire group. Holding CTRL doesn't seem to do it anymore. Did the bind change and I'm just admittedly blind?
  2. What they are saying Matuchkin, is that they are using an unstable beta that still has bugs but is available in Ferram's github. It's not intended for general release and is considered for "advanced users" since you can expect to come across a bug or something else wonky. The obvious benefits to doing these types of releases are the, hopefully, bountiful beta testers and subsequent bug reports that follow.
  3. Ok downloaded Kerbal Joint Reinforcement 3.3.1 which had the change log of v3.3.1 Bugfixes --Fix a critical bug involving unphysical forces applied to vessels on load / unload of other vessels and SOI switches and I've yet to experience the problem again
  4. I get the midair bump every launch I do, usually about 1km after launch. Never had it cause me to lose control of a rocket till earlier today. I'm going to uninstall KER and see if it still happens. Oh and I am on 1.2.1 so it def wasn't something that was fixed in that release and I'm pretty sure that midair bump is the same thing as the phantom force issue I experienced on Minmus edit: ok just tested without KER and I had the same results, midair bump shortly after liftoff. It's not devastating if you have a high TWR but the one I launched earlier didn't and it flipped out of control due to it
  5. If it helps narrow it down I am having the same issues while only running Kerbal Engineer, Distant Object Enhancement, And Kerbal Joint Reinforcement. So far it's happened twice on a rockets ascent, but I have heard similar accounts of it occurring during descent as well
  6. I have had the same problem with the lv-909. Right click the engine and disable gimble, works everytime for me
