  1. Ok. I went back in a re-distributed lift and fixed com/col positions. When the tanks empty the com moves to the col. I also re balanced the control surfaces for the brick flight.. Its alot easier than it looks. But i still have alot to learn!
  2. The com moves back when the mono/xenon tank empty. Not sure why. Ill put the edited parts folder on dropbox. Fly the shuttle and give me some feedback if you want. If the Col is above the com the aero gets a little wonky. I took a look at the tail config. Oh lord. The tail needs some adjusting.   3. Ok. If i find something that works ill put the config on dropbox to maybe go into a version of the mod. I found ModuleLiftingSurface in the config but no aerosurface. Same thing? - - - Updated - - - Com Col are out of align. Thats why it pitches up really hard and is unpredictable at times. - - - Updated - - - I got it flyin Pretty good. Moved back the col and gave some brick flight attributes. Still needs some work. Still pulls 8 g turns if not careful but its a start. Com is low. It needs to be higher.
  4. The tail piece for the separate wing shuttle is too small. The separate winged shuttle flys much better than the one piece as is. In fact, it flys too well. It needs less lift. It dosnt fly like a brick.
  5. I put chutes on my shuttle! So i dont need wings. REDUNDANCY!
  6. Ok. Also i found an issue with the 747 nose gear... Also the tail wing on the 747 and shuttle are being used for pitch and they go left. But are unresponsive to yaw.
  7. Im not using far. It flys very well but is touchy. For me it can be sent into a flap spin pretty easily by nosing up when im coming in to land after re entry. in older versions it used all body lift. And it would fly backwards. I updated today and now its all standard lift. So i wasnt sure if you changed something. im using the one piece in the screen shot.
  8. I know alot about the aero and how it works but i dont know how to code. So how is this gonna work? - - - Updated - - - The shuttle flys much more realistically now; like a brick! Although the roll authority is a bit op as it could get the 747 to do an aileron roll. But thats all. Did you change the lifting body issue in the lastest version? Because the shuttle no longer has any body lift. It has standard lift. It should have a a little body lift on the main body of the shuttle (cyan in aero forces overlay) and wing lift on the wings (dark blue in aero forces overlay). The thing is the shuttle is one piece with the wings. So this might not be possible unless the wings are separate parts. - - - Updated - - - This is what im talking about
  9. Lifting body in stock aero dosnt really work. YOu should probably change it. It can make the aero properties completely unpredictable. lifting body should work just fine in far though. - - - Updated - - - It also makes things fly backwards better than forwards lel. Lifting body just dosnt work in stock.
  10. does the css shuttle use lifting body or regular lift? And the elevons are too powerful. They need to be halved in power.
  11. Making the back elevons less powerful on the shuttle would be really nice. It flys like the shuttle put pitches up really hard and flips it alot
  12. I noticed that having the shuttle being one piece can wonk out the collision box. Maybe have a another version that is the individual sections like 1.6 and before?
  13. Same thing happens with me. just the standard 1.7.3.1 does that :/ I also noticed that it null refs when it reaches oms left file. That could possibly cause that.
  14. I noticed that the shuttle makes wayyyyy to much lift. it makes so much lift it dosnt stall untill 5/ms and it is nearly impossible to land as i goes strait up when i pull up the least bit. Also when i does stall it rocks back and fourth in the air like a piece of paper. the aero for this mod is a mess
  15. Where in the games properties? I only see "Always keep this game up to date" "Only update when i launch it" and "High Priority"
  16. So im on ksp version 1.0.4 and was wondering if i can downgrade to 1.0.2. I have the steam version of ksp. If I cant downgrade is there a way to disable auto updates?
