They can't be connected? Whenever i try to right click i get nothing

Hello! I am having some trouble attaching struts and fuel lines using the current build of KIS/KAS, is there a shortcut key to attach the second strut anchor or connect them? Thanks!

Hello! I have been having a problem with outer planets mod, whenever I install it causes solar panels (stock and near-future) to stop supplying direct current when in direct sunlight. http://i.imgur.com/NQ75CQP.png I have re-verified my game cache several times and whenever I start ksp something keeps going missing. I have even removed everything except kopernicus and Outer planets mod and it still gives no power. Halp! KSP version 1.04
