Actually which kind of gun is the best, GAU-8 have the highest firing rate( I think) but you cannot put as much of it as other guns like vulcans. So.. which is better? Btw, this thread is nearing 100 pages.

Just use 40 pts for counter measures and the rest for GAU - 8s and ammo box.

So I checked the wiki and I saw Kerbol's mass is 1.7565670×10^28 kg and I also checked that the required mass to start fusion is about 1.5x10^29 kg. That says Kerbol shouldn't exist in the real world, but is there a way to create such a low mass star in the real world naturally? Like if some coincidental can start fusion even without enough mass?

Yeah! My planes did defeated box planes at least once. I'm proud of them. And what were they doing in round 2?! Riding each other? I guess that's how small planes are made...

Maybe one plane starts in the island airfield and another one starts in KSC, and swap the starting position each round

From my experience, small planes are better. But I think it's still possible to create a medium sized fighter that is as good as small planes. I think if you have high TWR, you perform better, so I am waiting someone to put a mainsail on his/her plane

What I'm thinking is to use sepratrons to lift me straight up to altitude while accelerating forward with a jet. When the other planes are up to altitude, my plane will already be firing missiles. Not sure will it work, but I think it's worth a try. - - - Updated - - - And now I need to think of a way to defend myself from similar designs
