  1. 2.5GHz i5, 4GB DDR3, integrated FX 4000. 0 It's not bad for a laptop
  2. I want to know how this build goes. I kinda only play "dad games" so top notch hardware just doesn't justify the price.
  3. Well shoot. Okay, how much better will it be than my three year old MacBook pro?
  4. I figured that the CPU would be fine for the job (quad core 3.0 GHZ can't really be slow can it?), as long as I paired it with a good motherboard and graphics card. I can spend about $250 but I'd much rather not. Again, KSP, and Space Engineers are going to be the most demanding on this rig as I have an Xbox one for AAA stuff. What's wrong with my CPU? $250. Again, not really looking to play AAA stuff on this rig.
  5. Okay, I'm going to be building a PC for gaming. I don't need a machine that can play all the new big titles, I just want to play KSP, Space Engineers, and other games of the like. I have a few parts to start with. AMD Athalon II 640 4x at 3.0 Ghz, an Hp case (mid tower), a solid state HD, a second rather large HD, and 32 gigs of ram. So I need a motherboard and a Graphics card that can run two screens... and I don't want to break the bank, say $100 - 200 max.
  6. I have a good design (I think), but I can't seem to get the darn thing in to space. The only up shot is my plane design-fu is getting much better.
  7. Thanks. So there's no way to load pictures directly in a post?
  8. After three, slightly less than planed, duna pass I finally got a scanner in polar orbit around Duna! It might have taken all but a few units of monopropellant to do it, but I did it just the same (half hour of RCS burn). As soon as I figure out how I'll post some pictures of the Scanning Rover/Pick-up truck I'm sending in what I think is a really cool landing pod/drop-ship.
  9. I've got a great one for this if I can just keep it from exploding. Small problem really.
  10. Thanks. This will help me on my evil master plan.
  11. I have been messing about with KSP for a few weeks now. So far a great deal of fuel, construction materials, and Kerbals have been sacrificed on the alter of science and exploration. In order to achieve my goals (move a moon to destroy a planet) I have decided to focus my efforts a bit more, seek advise, and join the wider community.
