I think they'll find that the flap disintegrated, but probably nothing that would be a problem for continuing to launch test flights.

I didn't bother with trying. Was more fun to just watch and share the experience. It was the X1.03 from earlier. It looked basically like a really bright filament that changed over several minutes. -

I saw a solar flare today. I happened to be using a hydrogen-alpha telescope when it happened. -

Took some more images and the brightness does not appear to have changed over these last few hours. All clear as far as I can tell! -

I took a few images a couple hours ago and I think it looked a little brighter than expected. Like somewhere between magnitude 9.35 and 10? Could easily still be in the 10 range though based on the variation in my data. -
Testing the control system, see it's very good at keeping balance.
