  1. I really didn't expect anyone to have an answer. Oh well, guess I'm never playing this game again.
  2. I asked this question on the subreddit a few weeks ago, and was not able to solve the problem, so I'll try here. This bug began a couple of weeks ago (maybe two or three) after I played KSP on my Steam account on a different computer. I set it to fullscreen mode, and it worked perfectly. But ever since that, it's been doing this. When I start the game, I get an error message saying "Couldn't switch to requested moniter resolution, Switching to resolution 1920x1080 failed, trying lower oneSwitching to resolution 1920x1080 failed, trying lower one All resolution switches have failed Screen: could not switch resolution (1920x1080 fs=1 hz=0)" After screwing around in the launcher for a while, I got the game to run in 1080p windowed mode, which causes a few inches of the screen to be cut off at the bottom, and a white bar at the top. This is the process I've gone through so far - EDIT: Updating the drivers and optimizing the game has done nothing at all, still the same 1080p error message. EDIT II: Launching from a desktop shortcut didn't work either. EDIT III: Going into the files and starting the game from the Launcher works perfectly, so perhaps it's a problem with Steam? EDIT IV: Launching the game itself from the files works perfectly, I simply don't have any save files (they got deleted). Now I'm really confused. EDIT V: Now I cannot launch the game from the launcher or the game files or Steam. EDIT VI: Now when I try to load the game up I get the same error before the game even starts loading the parts, so it's gone from bad to worse. EDIT VII: And now it works perfectly when launching from steam, after I turned off Anti-aliasing and V-banking, doesn't work in fullscreen though. EDIT VIII:Broken again, installed a few mods prior. EDIT IX: Uninstalled KSP and reinstalled, still not working. All my drivers are updated, my screen is at the proper resolution, I have been searching for an answer for weeks and have come up empty handed.
