1. Yay! Rovers confirmed in the future. It can wait. Seeing this mod to its completion is its own reward. And plus, this mod makes base building pratical to a much larger degree than the stock parts allow. I still cant stop praising this mod, over a month or two after first getting it. Amazing work.
2. Maybe as a seperate mod that is dependent on the current one. Either way, its not really a priority right now, or even for some time from now. Not a bad idea though.
3. I have to agree with you on that last little bit there. Especially for smaller bases, or for bases were payload mass could be a serious choice factor when it comes to putting it together. Plus, it gives me a few ideas for other uses as well. Maybe im coming off as a bit greedy sounding, but I feel this new concept has some serious potential. On a slightly different note, does the current garage come pre-equiped to connect to the other base parts, or does it need an adapter? If so, could we also see the adaptor.
4. Awsome garage design. Looks great, not to mention being a strong potential strategic base component. Based on how you said that this part was based on the mk3/ 3.75m sized parts, could one more small thing be added with this part? All im asking for is an up sized model of the K&K bicoupler. Mostly just to ease the challange of transport without things looking too strange. I know you already have a lot on your hands here, so I understand if this is just to much right now. Looking forward to this part.
5. My jaw is currently sitting on the floor. The garage is almost here. It will be an early christmas when the update is released.
6.
Thanks for the report, it was not mentioned before. I will fix it. Good to hear :). I haven't experience it yet. Thanks :D On the rover parts: I will finish the parts in the pipeline now and make the full release. I don't know what would come after this...but with the garage rovers would be a reasonable addition. But maybe not on this mod but as a separate one. But this will be way in the future. I have another non KSP related personal project i want to focus on first  (But no fear, i will maintain and expand this mod)
Yeah. I think that would make for a good additional mod. Take your time with it though. I love the level of quality that is present in this mod. Better to have quality than quantity.
7.
Doubt he'd make that right now. Love to see a stockalike rover pack, but I think that's gonna have to wait until after 1.0 (This mod) is released, and I don't even think he'll make that afterwards.
I hate to admit it, seeing as how I would love these additions to be made, but I have to agree. First lets get whats already in the development pipeline finished (the garage, new habitat, drill, and likely something im missing) before anything else gets added to the list. I have made attempts at designing new parts, and let me say its not as easy as one would think. Not even close to being easy.
8.
Suggestion: Rover parts to attach below the current modules and a cockpit similar to The Martian's rover: http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/outthere/files/2015/10/martian-gallery11-gallery-image.jpg
OK. YES. One thing I have found is that the parts in this mod are exceptionally good for use with rovers. One, they offer a flat bottom, which helps to minimize roll-overs. Two, they allow for a low center of gravity, further improving stability. Lastly three, being the same height as the rest of the base, you can easily dock them to the base when not needed or, as I like to do, use them as effective part movers. The current cupola mudule sorta works, but if it had greater length and the ability to store more crew it would be perfect. Making it similar in apperance to that of rover 2 (Little novel reference there) would be the icing on the cake. And besides, I do kind of like the idea of my little HAB on the duna prairie having a fitting rover.
9. I have noticed that its a bit of a pain to attach the new leg wheel parts, but ah, cant win them all. Still cant wait for all the other new parts.
10. Yeah. Getting this into stock would be kind of nice. The parts are fairly specialized though, so I dont know if squad actually would. That said, there is the advantage of this mod not adding new mechanics, so performance changes are microscopic, if at all.
11. Pretty sure thats the "super 100 shooting star command pod" mod providing the command pod. Not completely sure, and I only recognize it since I went through newest first for part packs on curse last night for the heck of it.
12. well. guess im not as doomed as I once thought. More construction awaits.
13. So im likely not noticing something, but will the new landing legs be height compatable with the legs that this mod currently adds? I ask cause I have bases under construction that I really dont want to have to be making a do-over for.
14. And thus we find the reason why I find it a bit clumsy right now. Much as I like KIS, my computers hardware dosent. The performance drop just wasnt worth it. Nice base design by the way.
15. I noticed that base fitting drill part mention. Thats great news, cause setting up a drill module is a bit clumsy at the moment. Nice to see how everything is shaping up here.
16. Ill settle for the mun myself. Little easier to reach (base is still under construction).
17. If possible, could we get a planetary cargo bay piece? In the same sort of idea as the stock cargo bays, I imagine the part having a pair of two piece ramps that when folded, match the outline of the other base parts. After unfolding, you would have effectivly a large flat plate, about the same length as a habitat piece on top of which you could have various components ready and waiting. Reason I ask is because I would love it if I had an indoor/outdoor storage option for any rovers I plan to bring to my base. The service bay is usable, but is far to restricting in terms of size to be ideal for the role.
18. I gotta say, im impressed. Downloaded this mod not too long ago, and I have been plesently suprised with the results so far. Few things though. I really wish there was a good way to allow me to move only one part of a base set up with a 2.5m sized rocket. A K&K to 2.5m single point adapter would be nice. Having made most mun missions with almost the same launch kit, Im kind of fond of it. The base wheels are an amazing thing (no preciece landings here).
