In a mirror image world where everything is opposite, the planets would spin the opposite direction. You would have to take off to the west to get to orbit.

I created an account just to weigh in on this. Runways are numbered with the direction you are heading, dropping the last 0. 90 at one end, 27 at the other. This would indicate he was taking off to the west, Possibly from KSC. Maybe an alternate world where Kerbin rotates the other direction? BTW, Excellent work Kuzzter! It is joy to read each new page.
