I figured out how to make them make mulch, but the greenhouse in the Pioneer module turns it into supplies and not organics. I thought it was supposed to turn into organics.

They're eating the Supplies, but I don't know if they're making mulch. I don't see any organics being made.

I'm having issues with this mod. I am using it along with MKS/OKS. The Pioneer module requires mulch, but I can't find any parts that make mulch. I know that it supposedly has a mulcher in it. How do utilize that?

Is this planet going to come with the 0.22 update?
-
I've been thinking about interplanetary transfer orbits lately. A low orbit, let's say 100 km circularized, would enable you to gain much more usable velocity from a smaller amount of propellant due to the oberth effect. However, a higher orbit, let's say 600 km circularized, would allow you to utilize the maximum amount of time warp, giving you more freedom to wait for a transfer window without utilizing a second craft. What I am wondering, is how much delta v do you then sacrifice in utilizing the higher orbit for a Duna or Jool departure?

Atmospheric and Mineral composition of Planets

The purple colour of Eve's atmosphere could indicate some level of gasseous iodine. What kind of liquid could exist under such pressure, to make up entire oceans on it's surface? -

I enjoy the exploration and scientific aspects of the game greatly; thus I am interested in the composition of it's content. -
Atmospheric and Mineral composition of Planets

Plutonium is a man made material. It makes no sense that it would exist naturally anywhere in the universe. -
I'm curious as to the atmospheric and mineral composition of the various planets and moons in Kerbal Space Program. Mainly, I'd like to ask if there have been any developer confirm facts regarding this. For example, I've heard rumors that Laythe's oceans are mainly comprised of ammonia, and that Eve's oceans are filled with rocket fuel. I am also uncertain as to what kind of gas would create a purple atmosphere.

Minmus + Frozen water. + Easy to resupply from Kerbin. + Food could be grown in underground shelters using thawed water. + Nuclear Engines operate at high efficiency due to the lack of an atmosphere. This would reduce fuel requirements. + A completely solid surface means that kethane deposits could be mined at any point on the planet. + Long term habitats could be dug into the mountains and ground to shelter against solar radiation. - Solar radiation would irradiate any Kerbal who ventured onto the surface without the proper gear. - Very little gravity at all would result in physiological changes over the long term for any kerbals who lived there. - Can Kerbals reproduce in low gravity? I do not know. Laythe + Breathable atmosphere. + Atmosphere allows for parachutes to assist with large landers. + Liquid water.. - .. That's filled with ammonia, which is very difficult to separate from water. - Radiation from Jool would fry any Kerbal not in shelter. - The water covered surface would make kethane mining less viable. - Underground shelters are not viable due to water-saturated soil on very small islands. - The combination of an atmosphere and oceans would result in weather patterns that could pose a threat to a surface colony. - Resupply and emergency aid would be near impossible outside of ships sent at intervals.

1. Yep. I did some experiments with vertical SSTO probe launchers and this was an important factor in the success of them. 2. Terminal velocity. You lose some d/v to air friction, but it hasn't been an issue for me yet. 3. I've always used Mainsails to get large loads to orbit. The Skipper has proven to be a very good upper stage engine. 4. It depends on how many stages you've got. Asparagus staging is important. On a quad booster setup, I eject the first two at 3-5k, the second two somewhere beyond 10k, when they run out. The center stage is usually sufficient to circularize most crafts.

They lowered the texture resolution on the planets in 0.20. It is a noticeable step backwards for the game.

What happened to Hitchhiker IVA? Parts in the Trailer?
footman04 replied to footman04's topic in KSP1 Discussion
They just need to finish those parts and get it over with instead of letting them go unfinished while adding other content. -
What happened to Hitchhiker IVA? Parts in the Trailer?

Just enter your ship and exit again. You always have full fuel when you exit your ship. I'm wondering about the trailer parts. -
What happened to Hitchhiker IVA? Parts in the Trailer?
footman04 replied to footman04's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I'm confused as to why it wasn't implemented in the first place. -
I remember seeing this image of the hitchhiker crewtank IVA being teased at us. What happened to it? Also, what are those parts in the trailer, and why weren't they included in this update? The wheels on the rover looked very nice, and there was a camera looking object on it too.

I just want to launch an SRB with a Kerbal on it. -
Use external seat as occupied part
footman04 posted a topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
How do I get a kerbal to spawn in the external seat? I mean come on do I really have to make some kind of mechanism attached to an occupied starting cockpit? -

Are they really adding clouds in 0.20? I have not heard anything about that before.
