If it interests anyone here, I've put together a patch that adds compatibility for Uncharted Lands: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/32838648/Galactic%20Neighborhood%20Uncharted%20Lands%20Patch.zip It has a few issues (as detailed in the readme file) but it's generally good enough for anyone who's too impatient to wait for official support!
