I have the same exact issue. I confirm it happens after installing RSS. I clean-installed KSP 1.73 with only RSS 16.4.0 along with its dependencies from ckan.

I had the same issue in KSP 1.3.1 as well.

EDIT!: I was wrong. It happens on stock KSP also (v1.7.3.2594).

Same issue here, but only on my RSS install. Happens in the tracking station and in the game map.

D: that doesn't sound good... If I'd have a guess I'd bet there was something missed when Scatterer/EVE integration became a thing and it's similar to the black cloud bug that was happening in earlier releases? I'm pulling at strings though.

@blackrack this is the issue I'm having (I hope it's a good enough explanation, only 2 minutes long):

EDIT: It's got something to do with the relation between whiteCapSTR and Shore foam. Strange things happen when you mix values around... it seems that when Shore Foam is a higher value than whiteCapStr there's a visible line.

looks like im having the same sort of issue you are https://gfycat.com/gifs/detail/NeatEachAlpinegoat

  3. another noob here, having trouble getting the sunflares to work since i installed GPP and SVE, ive looked though this thread and couldnt see how to fix my problem, if i missed it i apologise,  ive added the textures to all of the scatterer sunflar folders in GPP (GPP wiki), SVE and normal scatterer also added them one at a time etcc but i cant seem to get it working. i can get it working without GPP and SVE

Let me first say, this mod is fantastic. Really makes the night sky beautiful.

However I have one issue - the actual glare shows some texture glitching; like I can see a distinct "block" or separation between the sunglare texture and the skybox in the background. Any ideas on fixing this? =/

See below for what I mean:

holy moses, just seen this mod, what sunflare is this one?

  5. so i recently had to reinstall ksp after i reformatted my pc, i used to have a mod that changed the particle effects of most engines so it looked like sonic diamonds, then when it got further up into the atmosphere  the particle effects diffused alot more sorta like the pics below, i cant for the life of me remember what mod it was, im pretty sure i got it through ckan, I thought it was real plume or smoke screen or maybe it was a remnant of another mod? shock-wave-diamonds.jpgED-AT803A_shelt_J_20150629152901.jpg

Sure is! First you need to install scatterer. Then copy the scatterer folder from GPP/optional visual mods or something like that to your gamedata folder and overwrite any existing folders.

you actually dont even need to install scatterer; GPP has a full version of scatterer included. you just need to install it from the optional mods folder

i had it working, but for some reason it doesnt anymore, i dunno. *opens another beer*

If they disappeared, it's likely that they didn't have either a probe core of some kind, or batteries with electric charge or some kind of power generation. without these two things, KSP classes them as debris, and removes them.

they all had probe cores, batteries, antennas and solarpanels, i guess i have to wait for them to land before i get too far away. I even switched to one of the probes and waited for it to land then tried to switch back to the aeroplane but it was gone.....with poor jeb inside it RIP

Well, if this is your only desire, then you don't actually need IR Sequencer. IR GUI has a toggle button (green arrow) to turn on continuous movement (given that you set your rotatatron to 360 spinning).

i feel like such a fool, ive been using IR for a while and never knew that, maybe i should read the instructions sometime

    Thanks alot
