My shuttle has the SSME pointed straight up, with another engine on the fuel tank, similar to some of the stock ones. CONS: Requires active tweaking of the thrust limiter on the SSME PROS: Use the tweaking on the SSME to give it incredible pitch control, by throttling the SSME up or down Easy to build Doesn't require a redesign due to a different payload

I am blowing through this challenge! Here's my rescue mission. Stock, except for the explosives I used to damage the first shuttle to simulate the damage to Columbia.

The fuel pod won't fit in the cargo bay along with a senior docking port...

My entry for level 3 Commander. Using my STS-Heavy variant. Pure stock, except for a camera on the payload.

I don't think my shuttle can land with the fuel pod. Can I skip straight to the space telescope? Also, if the telescope has modded parts (hullcam vds), but the shuttle is stock, does that count as a stock entry? Should the panels be attached manually with KAS?

Here's my fuel pod mission, turns out Windows Game Recorder is NOT the best recording software: Since I had a KSC landing, does that mean that my first badge gets upgraded?

Crap. I forgot to post the photo of the orbit. I will post it when I get home. I think it was 170x80, but with like 1500 lf left to power the nuclear OMS.

My entry for Level 1. No mods on the actual craft, I will use the explosives from KAS to blow the wing off my Columbia stand-in during the setup for the rescue though. I waaaay overshot my KSC landing, so I am stuck with STS pilot lvl. 1.

I *briefly* went over 10 km/s in Jool's atmosphere. Not sure if this challenge means to use only jet engines. Mine was an atmo probe that didn't have enough fuel to brake. It blew up at 196 km.
