[1.0.2] Navball docking alignment indicator v7
Mastema replied to mic_e's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I love this mod and find it tremendously useful (the more popular docking port alignment indicator was throwing me for a loop by wanting me to look away from the navball), but I'm having trouble understanding what exactly the red marker indicates. I understand that targeting it puts me parallel with the other docking port, and I understand how to use it by "pushing" the target indicator towards the red marker using the prograde marker, but I don't understand exactly what point in space I'm aiming at by aiming at the red marker -
Mods in Stock

I'm still pretty new at the game, so I've only installed mods that give me more tools to work with instead of changing the gameplay significantly: Active Texture Management Docking Port Alignment Indicator Enhanced Navball (mostly for the ghosting on prograde/retrograde) Environmental Visual Enhancements (Clouds should really be an option in stock. I've tried uninstalling it several times but Kerbin just looks naked without it now) Kerbal Alarm Clock VOID (delta V info at the very least should be stock. It's so essential for building a decent rocket and there's no reason to have to pull up an Excel spreadsheet in the VAB) WernherChecker (found this by accident, glad I did because it keeps me from forgetting solar panels) -
I'd be okay with KSP 2 if it meant a switch to a better engine. The game performs terribly with larger rockets and crashes fairly often if you use mods, at least in my experience
