I have an Inspiron gaming laptop I run ksp on with an i5-7300hq and a 1050 it runs just fine heavily modded. actually looking at your listed specs it sounds like the same one.. Inspiron gaming 15. They have a slightly better version with a 1050ti and an SSD (I have a slot to add one to mine if I want) for $100 more. I'll probably get some more RAM just cuz but otherwise I haven't had any issues really.. just the usual load times because of mods. Edit: It doesn't bother me really but just a warning it's a matte screen and a lot of people don't like those (I love em) and some reviews say the colors aren't great.. but again that seems like preference) it was on display at my local Best buy I'd assume yours would have it as well if you want to scope it out first

I'll usually make a "space program" and use the standard convention. I will make multiple versions of each craft usually just slightly modified for it's mission. Ex. I'm using the Blue.. something mod (the new version of FASA more or less I forget what they're calling it these days) and all my "Saturn" craft are Kapollo (Kapollo I went to the min, Kapollo I went to minus, Kapollo III just got back from Olel (forget which mod added those two extra moons but I LOVE the new planets and moons in it - Olel on a polar orbit of kerbin and it itself has another moon). My interplanetary series will probably be Kiscovery (yeah I do the K-name cheese cuz it's fun!) But that'll be after Kapollo IV which is destined for Olel's moon. I need to figure out how to handle sending up a Rover first that'll probably just be called Argo (subassembly?) And my SSTO is the Kerban Flyer.

Lol well, why do anything? To quote an unnamed egotistical Starfleet captain .. "Not to mention the biggest reason for climbing a mountain.." ... "Because it's there". That being said yes, there are some serious technical challenges to putting the game on 360, doubtful it would be doable other than a small for funsies project.. I don't seeing it being stable by any stretch of the imagination without stripping out some serious components of the game.. almost down to what's in the demo even maybe.

What seemingly basic thing have you never done in KSP

Never played in science or sandbox.. always career. -
Weve never lost a kerbal in space before we are sure not going to lose one on my watch! -Gene Kerman Srsly though the sci wouldnt be worth it to me personally.. Eve = unmanned probes for me

What do you think about automated launches?
stosyfir replied to glen.mack's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Once in a while I'll pop on mechjeb's ascent autopilot on a launch vehicle Ive already flown myself. Really depends on the mission and whether or not Im feeling lazy. Its useful enough if Im just hauling up a space station module - I always perform the rendezvous and docking myself though (some may call me crazy but thats the fun part) -
It depends on my mood really when building heh. Ive got an orbital science lab MK I (actually a few different launches of various modules Ive slapped together in orbit I named yhe various modules Habitat A, Fuel Depot 1,etc), Kapollo 11 (FASA Saturn), Deep Space Probe 1.0 (OCTO core on top of a saturn - this puppy made some epic rounds before i crashed her into the sun), Kerbal Rescue I (FASA white gemini on a 1B for rescue contracts), so it really depends some I give straight names to, others not so much. My next project is manned flight to Duna that'll probably be something like The Intrepid Moron in true Kerbal fashion.

Successfully landed on the sea of kerbility after just one failure..had a little too much ground speed and did the 'ol skid and flip the lander on its side routine. Quickloaded back to about 50,000m and smooth sailing down on the second go.. A little too much vertical speed maybe that was about it had a minor weeble-wobble for a second once i touched down edit:this wasnt my first rodeo Im not THAT good.. I used to play Orbiter a lot. (Note to self: build a kerdelta glider)

What don't I put in service bays is the better question.. Use em for everything science experiments, batteries, mechjeb, engineering board, flight recorder, RCS tanks, pretty much anything i need and dont want sticking out the side of the ship.

You Will Not Go To Space Today - Post your fails here!

The number of times Ive forgotten random parts.. Like say a decoupler between my pod and it's service tank and realizing it at reentry.. Or (sadly has happened more times than id like to admit) forgetting solar panels and running out of juice mid-transfer -
Only says XBOne and PS4.. What happened to the Wii U version? Was really looking forward to using the tablet to navigate and build.
