  1. Severity: Medium Frequency: Always (but only in this game - my son's saves are unaffected) Issue: Any vessel that gets to 70,000m above Kerbin will appear to rapidly shoot off camera so the screen shows no vessel. If you then switch to the map view, for the first second or two everything will look normal, but then the vessel icon will teleport to a different location and lose its trajectory line. It will move quickly out towards the Kerbin SOI edge (if you go back to the vessel view you get an exciting view of Kerbin receding fast!). As soon as the vessel icon gets to the SOI edge on the map everything will instantly flip back to normal, with the vessel back on its original course (but maybe 15-20 seconds later). This only started happening recently, but now seems to happen with any vessel (including vessels designed before it started occuring). Steps to Reproduce: Load the save file and fly any craft to 70,000m. Images: Video Evidence: Additional Information: Game was modded with 3 QOL mods when this began (InputBinder, MicroEngineer and Manoeuvre Node Controller), but persists after uninstalling them. Problem only started well after they were installed so I suspect they have nothing to do with it, but could be wrong! I will try deleting a bunch of old saves as someone suggested above and see if it clears it up.
  2. Hmm, hadn't checked that before, but yes - manned craft are unaffected, but joystick input is disabled for robotic craft when the delay is turned on. If delay is off but the other options are on (e.g. EC usage for telemetry) then joystick still works. I can live with that. I should probably be using kOS for my robots anyway.
  3. This is great! Seems to work fine with 1.4 as well, as far as I can tell. It doesn't work with joysticks - it just disables input altogether. Would that be really tricky to do?
  4. Hi, I'm having issues trying to get the Root setting to work instead of Standard. Can I check that I have things right? Firstly, this is what I've done: I've gone into Kerbal Space Program\GameData\RemoteTech\RemoteTech_Settings.cfg, opened it in Wordpad, and edited some lines as follows: RangeMultiplier = 0.5 ---some other stuff--- RangeModelType = Root MultipleAntennaMultiplier = 0.5 ...and then saved it. It doesn't seem to have the desired effect. Weirdly, every now and then it seems to lose all the settings and revert to the defaults. I can't find the pattern in when this happens - it seems to be while playing the game (rather than on first loading), and it doesn't happen every time - only occasionally. Secondly, maybe it is working properly (losing settings notwithstanding), and I just have my maths wrong? I'm trying to get a DP-10 on an unmanned space plane to connect to my comms satelites (which have KR14s pointed at Active Vessel as well as Communotron 32s) in KSO. I've also tried using multiple DP-10s to see if the MultipleAntennaMultiplier is working, with no luck. This should work with the settings above, right? I'd really like to be able to use the DP-10 and not have to stick an ugly satellite dish on my plane! Thanks in advance for any advice.
