[1.3.0] OPT Space Plane v2.0.1 - updated 29/07/2017

I'm AFK, so I can't look myself, but I'm wondering if someone could kindly quote me the performance stats of the ARI-73? -
Stupid question, but I assume kerbals can walk and float around inside? Just answered my own question by watching the trailer, but am intrigued by the possibility of a planetary lander with a dome on top...

Is there Karborundum anywhere in this system? -

Thanks for the advice and the data. I've never been terribly good with spaceplanes, though, so I'll probably have to go with my patented "giving Kerbal physics the finger" design language. -

@AeroGav for the moment, I'm just going for a flag on every body in the system. I haven't begun to figure out colonization. OPT has a few atmospheric-optimized rocket engines. I can't remember the mod, but I've got access to these Mallet air-boosted hybrid SRBs that should help, too. I'll post results when I can. I just want to send out a quick thank you to @Galileo. If you are ever in St. Cloud, Minnesota, I'll buy you a beer. It's the least I can do for the person who revolutionized and reinvigorated my love for KSP. Every planet but the Gas Giants, obviously. -

How the deuce do I get a craft off of a planet with gravity almost twice as strong as Gael and an atmosphere ten times thicker? What kind of delta-v will I ultimately need? Any suggestions on stock or mod engines that would be particularly effective? Help me Kerbal-Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope... -
What's a good ISRU setup that you recommend? The reason is I'd like to add a basic ISRU capability to a multipurpose lander/Explorer I have already built.

What sort to tips and equipment is required for an asteroid redirection? Parts? Delta-v requirements? Is there a point to doing one besides the coolness of it?

Success! Thanks for everything, guys. So far its just named Prototype FTL, so I'm certainly accepting name submissions. Best I've managed so far is 4c, but I'll take it. http://imgur.com/a/1dkCp- 22 replies

I do have NF Electrics installed. Should I uninstall it? All of the descriptive text still describes output in GW and the best I can get from nuclear generators is 10%-15%. Right now I the best I can manage from the Vista engine is 3-4 percent.- 22 replies

I forgot to mention is that if someone could describe a fully functional warp/Vista engine capable ship, at least the important bits, I'd be grateful.- 22 replies

Hello everyone, my name is Brandon and I am a pathetic loser that can't make any of the reactor-powered nuclear engines work. Vista, Tokamak, VASMIR, Plasma, Warp Drive. I have the latest versions of KSP and KSPI-E. The problem I am having is that both the Pebble Bed and Dusty Plasma both show outputs of several MW not GW, and I can't get a fusion reactor to actually start even after experimenting for several hours. I won't even mention antimatter... Look, I fully expect to be torn a new one for my ineptitude. My experience with internet forums is not a good one. But with any luck there will be enough kind souls that will help me figure this out.- 22 replies

I'm trying to put together my first fusion-powered ship, and I just can't get the darned thing to work. Does anyone have any tips on how to make these things work? Perhaps some sort of checklist or diagram?
